Toothbrush not charging

It's a bit basic but. . . . 1. Check the socket is live, by plugging something else in to prove it. If the socket is not live, get an electrician to fix it. 2. If there is any charge in the toothbrush, turn it on. If not, no matter. 3. Quickly fit it on the charger 4. Make sure it is seated firmly 5. If it was on and buzzing, toothbrush should switch off when you put it on the charger. 6. If the indication flashes slowly on and off, it is charging. If this does not happen, I think it is defective. Tell Amazon to send you a new one. 7. Leave it till the flashing stops. 8. It is charged. 9. Good luck. Tell me if it works.
