Cold Steel Perfect Balance Thrower, Black

This thrower is an absolute BEAST it destroys whatever targets you land it into. The weight of the thrower is very heavy at approximately 635 grams and is an absolute pleasure to throw once you get used to the Weight and the only problem I have with it is that it seems to be made for the full spin and half spin technique. No spin is a lot more difficult with this one and last but not least the hammer or hand shake grip seem to work best for full spin

This knife is large, very well made, very durable and can easily be thrown with the spin or no-spin technique. As the name suggests it has perfect 50/50 balance, but is fairly heavy. It can also be used as an inexpensive but beastly Bowie Knife, mine came hair shaving sharp out of the box! The black coating wears off the tip a little quickly bit not much of an issue and it would be nice if these came with a sheath instead of it sold separately.

This is one of many throwing knives I have tried since taking up knife throwing a few years ago and it has to be my favourite so far. After trying some different techniques and settling on the no spin style of throwing I went looking for a large Bowie style knife. After seeing how well the Cold Steel Canadian Belt Knife that I bought my father for his birthday has been serving him (note even though it is not designed for it the belt knife flies well too, although it probably is not recommended to throw that knife) I chose this one. It is fun to throw and is very heavy so it does take some getting used to if you have started with lighter knives. This knife is sturdy enough to be used as you would a regular bowie knife and also comes very sharp. I recently purchased the sheath that is sold separately from the knife so I could carry it with me in the woods and around the farm for impromptu throwing practice as well as having a heavy chopper on hand. If you're looking for a Bowie style knife that you can throw this is definitely one of the better options!

This is my first pro thrower and I personally love everything about it and know why it cost 30$!First the finish on the blade was even and smooth, Grind lines and plunge line are nice and clean, Solid carbon steel!Comes with plastic Handel scales which I removed right away because I'm shure I would have broken one or both dialling in my rotations.Last but not least this thing is a beast! Long, heavy, and loves destroying your targets and backboards, And will take the abuse of every day throwing for years.Factory blade comes plenty sharp so throw safe and have fun fellow knife throwers.
