Brain Games - A Puzzle a Day

I love these spiral bound puzzle books with a variety of different puzzles. 1) It’s nice to have a mix of things. There are sudoku, crossword puzzles, word searches, cryptograms, anagrams, word ladder, logic, various number puzzles, and lots more. I feel like a genius when I solve the cryptograms! 2) I like the spiral because you can lay it flat as a full spread, and access the whole page — not have to fight with a center crease — or you can fold it back all the way and see one page — without having to fight it from closing on you. 3) The overall construction is nice. The paper is thick and the spiral binding is wide enough so it’s easy to flip pages. I hope this company makes more of these. I even got one for my teen and he likes it too — better than him staring at his phone!

So, I'm about a quarter through this book, and it's got a lot of different kinds of puzzles. Not sure i' m good at all of them, but I love the variety. Definitely brain teasers for sure! I bought for some nightly puzzle work, to keep the brain fit, and it does just that. Definitely feeling a bit smarter! :)

This is a well-made book with a decent variety of unique rotating puzzle types. The challenge level works for me, and most puzzles take me less than 10 minutes, which is what I want out of a daily puzzle. That being said, it's a little sudoku-heavy for my taste, since those tend to take me quite a bit longer to solve. But if you enjoy sudoku, this book incorporates it well. If you don't, be ready to skip a day every couple weeks (there are 23 total throughout the book).

You cannot go wrong with these puzzle books. Great paper quality, spiral bound is way to go.

This book is for a year as there are 365 puzzles I believe. I completed the book in two or three weeks. Some of the puzzles are better than others. Most of the puzzles are at a moderate difficulty level.

I really am looking forward to completing this. It’s both fun and challenging. I got it at a great price also.

We had a brain puzzle calendar for 2022, it was not challenging or stimulating enough for my husband, so we got this one for 2023. A few weeks in and its great! A couple have had him stumped and he’s enjoyed working on them. A nice little challenge everyday!

Any brain games puzzle books are always great!! Different challenge levels, good variety of puzzles, and I love that it’s a spiral notebook.
