liked the SS. worked well on my 8" vent hose. Dont know actual strap length but its over 8"...so easy to wrap around hose, insert end and tighten. Nice product. Incidentally...they come in a baggy and you will want to straiten out before use. Rub back of the clamp strap over the edge of a board or similar to get the bend to conform to your requirement. its very easy. don't go wild...steady as go!!

I ordered the 8 inch. Decent build quality, definitely not cheap. I used these for my scuba tank, I'm not sure if it's just proof like they claim. I needed a clamp for a 7 1/2 inch tank the 8 inch just bearaly fit tight. I recommend you use a build a clamp kit so you can cut it to what you need.

These are good duct clamps that work with a flat screwdriver. I ordered a set of 6 inch ones and they fit up to 6.5 inches in diameter (not quite 7). To be exact, they fit between 145mm-165mm. Made in China.

I bought this set of 2 clamps to replace a set of clamps for my 4" dryer vent that were very poorly designed. They only tightened to exactly 4 inches (actually a little less, which is why we had the problem). These continue to tighten as the end of the clamp is pulled through by the turning of the bolt. The bolt is a hex shape with flat head screwdriver option also. Simple, works as advertised.

Pro: Good quality and easy to install. Con: I have looked every where to find a 7" duct clamp. I cannot find a 7" duct clamp. I thought I could buy the 8" duct clamp and tighten it to 7". Mine closed to 7-1/2". Very disappointed. So I used a spacer to make up the difference until I can find a 7" clamp. There has to be somewhere I can go to order a clamp to fit this duct without special ordering it.

The hose clamp is a good product. The only downfall is it does not shrink down very much. I needed an eight and a half inch in this hose clamp barely shrunk down to maybe 9. Very limited places where you can use this exact hose clamp. I feel that it should have had more adjustments to where you could use this in more applications. I was very disappointed when I saw that it shrunk down very little from 10 in.

The were hard to get started when I was trying to use a screw driver but once I switched to a socket it was really easy to get these going. They opened up plenty big enough to fit over my 8inch duct work and help everything tight. My only complaint was that the would start to dig into the duct at a certain point, not to big of a concern on my solid ducts but on the one section of my ducts that used aluminum flex pipe this almost caused a hole

Nice tight fits. You can tighten this one very tight, and it won't strip, or pop out of the threads.

used them on some 6 inch ducting they work well, nothing wrong with them at all, thanks for a great product!

Does the job

This holds my fan and hose together perfectly. Very strong.
