REMARKABLE
Purchased this for our IPE Patio I used the Cleaner and Brightener first then used this Stain. Our Patio looks brand new, absolutely amazing. This is a must if you want to protect your IPE wood Patio. Even the part of the Patio not covered is renewed love this stain. Fast delivery and well packaged.

Worth the effort to apply.
Works well, easy to apply. Lasts about 4-6 months at 4200 ft elevation through summer, extended winter weather takes its toll and I reapply each spring.

Best option I have found for Ipe
The dock is located in East Tennessee and exposed to lots of strong sun and rain. The beautiful stain color will stay for 3-5 months in the most sun exposed locations. Then the wood transitions to gray. The oil is easy to apply, I tend to use a brush to help get between the boards better. The stain goes about the 200-300 square foot per can, in heavily weathered areas. I also wear a respirator. The VOCs are strong and prefer to not breath them in. Try to avoid getting it on your hand too (I wear long rubber gloves). The oil is very difficult to get off your skin and will retain a smell for a day or two. Best to just not get it on you.

Best thing for your ipê wood
Our once a year care for our ipê wood. Works beautifully. A little smelly so wear a mask. Easy to use and long lasting. Works !

Dried out after 5 weeks…
This product was purchased after reading multiple reviews. The IPE Oil was easily applied and did not require wiping; we did apply 2 coats in some spots. Initial look was beautiful, but after only 5 weeks, you can’t even tell anything was done! The oil has completely faded and wood looks dried out - we will need to reseal with a different product. We live in Western NYS for geographic context and generally apply an oil every few years. We would NOT recommend this product due to very limited seal life.

Great product for EPI wood. Easy to apply but keep stiring frequently to keep the oil & pigment consistently mixed.

When it stops stinking there is nothing left. No way am I applying this 3-4 times a year even if it didn't stink.
