Professional quality with extra bells and whistles. Have happily used for 3+ years
I originally bought this unit to treat some sciatica. I quickly used it to treat sub-scapular and shoulder pain. Super-effective. I love how there are multiple massage/stimulation settings. Each is phenomenal in what it can do. Here are some key points which really set this device out from others: 1) Super long-lasting built in lithium ion battery will last for hours of treatment 2) Easy and relatively quick to recharge ( one to two hours) 3) It has TWO channels so you can stimulate/massage two muscle groups at the same time - usually only pro machines can do this 4) 1 to 20 levels of stimulation. The higher levels are very energetic. You can find your perfect level for any mode 5) Pads can easily be re-used and you can cheaply purchase more on Amazon 6) Lovely display to read and choose via icons which mode you may like - no complicated phases, wavelength, pulse duration or other non-intuitive settings to input. Simple press your mode and select the level of intensity! 7) Super lightweight and sleek. Can go anywhere with you! Go travel. Place the pads on and put the device in your pocket like a phone and go about your normal errands or daily activities if you wish! I can't speak highly enough of this unit as both a person who has used it for well over three years and also as a medical provider. Incredible value. Most units like this would easily cost hundreds of dollars for clinical use.

Great unit, relief after first use, ultra portable
I bought this as a gift for my Dad for Father's Day because he had been suffering from muscle pain. He had been to PT off and on, but dealing with insurance covering those visits had been a hassle, and I thought this might offer him some relief when he was traveling for business or in between covered PT visits. I read different accounts of people saying these TENS devices really helped, and had some experience with them myself at a chiropractor's office. I ended up giving it to him early, and even the next day, both of my parents said it was a great unit. They had both used it on different areas where they had pain and thought it had really helped. My mom even timed it to see how long it was before her muscle started to ache again, and said after using the unit for a few minutes, it gave her relief for 3 hours. It is very easy to use and convenient to carry around or bring with you. My parents each only tried using two of the pads at a time so far, though they joked that with 4 pads and two different control points, they could sit on the couch and both use it at the same time. I tested it myself while I was visiting and I really liked how many different "patterns" (for lack of a more scientific term) it offered, and how easy it was to increase or decrease the intensity. The first place I tested it out was on the upper part of my shoulder and that was a trip. In certain locations it will make your muscles contract and move on their own, so it was like I was shrugging and relaxing without even moving. I tried my neck next since that had actual pain, and although I did feel better after, I think it's kind of relaxing to use on a low setting even without pain. I only made it to intensity 4, so I really can't speak to how strong it gets after that, but it helped me even on a very low setting. I read several of the previous reviewers saying that it was worth shelling out a little more for this unit, as opposed to the one that had high reviews for about half the price, because this one offered more levels of intensity, and I'm glad that I did. Even after we had all played around with it for a day, the battery was still full. It is very small, has an easy to understand screen and only the necessary amount of buttons. I think it'll be easy for my parents to take around with them, and store to bring on trips. I thought maybe they could even use it during plane travel because the seats always give my Mom back pain. Not sure if these are allowed through TSA though, so I'll have to check that. Overall, there are three satisfied users, and I'm now considering buying one myself so I don't have to steal theirs.

Great TENS/EMS unit
I've been using this device for a couple of months now and it has really helped with my lower back pain due to muscle spasms. It works much better and is much more versatile than the TENS units I have purchased in the past at drug stores, and it's not that much more expensive, so it's definitely been worth the extra cost. I really like the many stimulation mode choices (although there are only two or three that work best for my pain and that I use regularly), and I like the fact that you can set both the stimulation time and the force. It's also great to have electrical muscle stimulation modes as well as TENS modes. EMS is like getting a back massage and has been really helpful for me. The package comes with three different size electrode pads--I use the two large ones for my back and my daughter has used the two medium ones on her abdomen to treat menstrual pain (with TENS) and it worked for that, too. So far, I haven't used both channels (4 electrode pads) at once, but you could do that too if you needed to cover a larger area. Other things I like about this system: the hand-held controller lets you actually see what you're doing when you set the mode and force (with the other TENS units I've had, the controller part was attached to the electrode pad so I had to reach back blindly to adjust the force), and the rechargeable battery is nice as well, although once I tried to use the device and it didn't work because the battery was dead, so you have to remember to plug it in and recharge it. I just plug it in for several hours after each use now. Since I've only had it for a short time, I can't speak to durability, but from what I've experienced thus far, I give it five stars.

Some small issues, but works well
First of all, I will just let you know: I call this my zapper. Pros: -Many options for zapping (muscle stimulation) patterns -Plenty of power (this is also a negative because it is often too intense for my forearms— see more below) -Three pad sizes -Easy to use -Comes with a cheat sheet for where to put pads to work on specific issues Cons: -Pads don’t stay sticky for more than a few uses (definitely have to be strict about using rubbing alcohol on your skin before applying the pads, as it doesn’t take much to lose the pads’ stickiness) -Power/intensity starts too strong (as mentioned above, it’s painful if I turn it up much past the very lowest level; depending how close together you place the pads, even the lowest setting is too much and I can’t imagine going up to 20 except maaaaybe if you put one pad on your lower back and one on your hamstring, like an example in the manual; for reference, the one they use on me at PT is on level 8 and placed on the same forearm spots as I use with this one at home) -Zapping pattern isn’t synced if you use both sets at the same time, unlike the pro one at PT (with this, you start each side separately and even if you time it to start the second set when the pattern gets back around the the beginning on the first set, they aren’t going at the same speed for some reason, so it’s kind of all over the place— the real issue with that is that when one side is mid-crescendo the other side starts its crescendo and sucks power from the first one; not the end of the world, but definitely annoying) Overall, I’m happy with it.

Sciatica Nerve Pain Eraser.
This is VERY impressive. I have only had it for one week, but I have not been taking pain pills every evening. Easy to understand, put the pads on either side of the pain and go. The touch screen was sluggish until I peeled off the protective layer. Changing icons works better if you turn the level to zero first. It works, it's cheap, it comes with starter pads and the little manual is written in english. It's a bargain but doesn't feel cheap. It can run two sets of pads at different settings at the same time. Buy the overpriced belt clip, it's worth it (will also fit iPhone clips). **Update** One month. My sciatica nerve has been tamed. One pad at the small of my back, one on my foot, setting #2. Fixed. Repeat every few days. My wife uses it on her shoulders, it also works on knee pain. The battery lasts for two weeks or more between charges. Everybody should have one in the house. **Update** A few years. This thing is STILL great. The battery life while waiting in your closet is phenomenal. When you need it, it is ready to go. I think I charge it twice a year. What a great product.

Excellent product! Excellent customer service
I’ve been shopping on Amazon for many years and bought countless products, but I have never experienced such excellent customer service like this before. I purchased this item quite a while ago, and when I needed some help due to my own mistake while using it, the customer service team responded immediately and resolved the issue right away. In the past, with many other Amazon sellers, I often had trouble because the company had changed, the product was no longer being sold, or I simply couldn’t reach anyone. But this time, the service was outstanding, and I’m truly grateful. The machine itself works wonderfully, and I use it all the time. Especially program #8 — it’s perfect for back pain!

Works, but annoying to use
I have tried to use this for about a month. The unit has many choices which might be helpful to some. #7 is the only choice I use. It truly does help the pain while I'm using it and that lasts for about 10-15 minutes after removal. It is lightweight. It appears to be well made. It has a rechargeable battery, which is a big reason I decided to buy a new unit. However, the "lock" mode is easily unlocked when in my pocket. It's locked/unlocked by a button on top, so it shuts off way before the time I've set it for. **If you want to change any setting while it's on, you must completely redo all settings as it defaults back to the original settings. The screen is not sensitive and is a bit difficult to initiate the change you're wanting to pick. The only way to carry it is in your pocket. The cords are long, so they can reach, but all the extra cord is hard to manage, constantly creeping out of pocket. The pads no longer stay stuck, although I have followed maintenance exactly. Also, they are a pain to apply because you are to sprinkle a few drops of water on the pads, then try to get them to stick, plug in the electrode-hard to do in some positions-and thread the wires up your garment so they don't get hooked. I bought this because I thought with all the choices and four electrodes, it would work even better than the Icy Hot dual electrodes pad I first purchased two years ago. That pad is much easier to use, although there are no adjustment choices and it uses a 2032 button cell battery. It runs a long time, however, on the one battery. I get the same amount of relief from the Icy Hot pad as this ten/ems unit. I grab it to use as I dread using this unit. I really wanted to like this unit. I feel like it was a waste of my money, though. **I just figured out how to change the setting w/o having to completely re-enter the settings. Before pressing the button on top, I punched the setting I wanted to change, then when I turned it on, it maintained the present setting. All I had to do was change what I wanted to.

Perfect for period relief or simulation
Full disclosure, I'm a man writing this review. I bought this unit for two express purposes, and it far exceeded expectation. First, my girlfriend and I wanted to do the social media experiment of giving me the pain she feels during menstruation, and second we were hoping it would help at least a little bit in relieving her cramps. Cramps first... My girlfriend gets debilitating cramps. This unit has completely nullified the pain during her light days, and brought the worst days down to a level where she can sleep at night and function during the day. With 20 levels of intensity, we have not needed it beyond level 15. The various modes give her the chance to zero in on what works best for her cramps. Second, the social media experiment... So this unit allows two sets of pads be used at once (so four pads at one time). That allowed both her and me to wear a set, put them in the same place, set the same mode and intensity. That way I could feel the same exact thing she did. After a little bit of adjusting and experimenting, she found a placement and mode that very closely replicated menstrual cramping, and set me up with the same, then gave the intensity which matched her cramps. This unit was perfect for that experiment. The extra... I was real skeptical on the functionality of this unit, but beyond our initial intended purposes, I found this unit does a fantastic job of relieving muscle pain, and helping recover after workout or strenuous activity. Pro's - two connections to allow a total of four pads. Able to change out the pads as needed. Wide variety of modes to hit exactly what you need. Excellent intensity gradient (level 1 = not really noticeable ... level 20 = I honestly don't know; neither of us can tolerate above level 18). Excellent battery life Con's - will only run for 60 minutes before timing out, and needs to be turned back on. Pads lose sticky after only 2-3 uses.

Pain relief
Very impressed with the product some really good funtions and being portable is such an advantage only charged it once and its done 13 hours of treatment highly recommend had tried a realky expensive machine at a show but this does just the same funtions and does the job perfect for a fraction of the cost. Great piece of kit.
