I bought this for my son and we both love it. The red color is so vibrant and pretty! The quality is great, and the push-button to open it is super practical. It’s also very easy to close, but my favorite part is the vent on top. It lets the wind pass through so the umbrella doesn't flip inside out on gusty days. My son is happy with it and it feels really sturdy. Highly recommend!

I have been repurchasing this umbrella every 5 years or so for over 10 years. The quality is impeccable and the umbrella really can sustain strong winds without bending. It’s portable, easy drying, and effective at blocking a rain shower. The only thing to note is the umbrella takes force to push the head down. It auto-shuts at the press of a button, then you must forcefully push the head closed. I’m on the small side so it takes effort, but it’s worth the trade off of a well made, sturdy item. I recommend over other brands or options.

The umbrella looks sturdy and well made. Unfortunately I did not have the chance to use it yet. UPDATE: I'm reducing it to 4 stars, because the manufacturer obviously never used his own umbrella. On the one hand, it's frame and canopy are very sturdy and strong. And the addition of the vents prevent it from being turned upside-down easily. However, the same design actually causes it to act as a ship's sail - pulling you in the direction of the wind. If you're thinking "it's ok, I'm a strong guy, I can handle some wind", you may be correct. But this is where the major flaw of the umbrella kicks in. It's handle is relatively short, and I shaped (As opposed to L/hook shaped handles in umbrellas). And what makes it worse, is that the strip that's supposed to attach it to your hand, is very short. So even though I have relatively small hands, I'm having trouble to insert my hand into the strip quickly. So if you leave home/car in pouring rain, what I would like to do is first open the umbrella, and then while firml;y holding it, put the strap on my hand. With this umbrella - you open the umbrella, and it's immediately being torn away from your hand by the wind (because of the canopy structure) and you can't hold on to it, because of the handle & strip structure. So what you're forced to do is: Leave your home/car, while standing in the poiring wind/rain, insert your hand into the strip (which is difficult because the strip is short) and only then, when the umbrella is firmly attached to your hand - open it.

Great size and color. Easy to open and close. Good quality and value for the money. Really good quality material and great for traveling.

I have only had my umbrella for a few days, but so far it works great! I travel quite a bit and am on the road more than 50% of the time. Because I travel so much a very compact umbrella is important to me. The EEZ-Y is lightweight and compact. It fits in my backpack, or my suitcase, without taking up too much room. A golf umbrella is really good for providing a large footprint and keeping the rain off of you, but they aren't exactly small and don't pack well. The footprint of the EEZ-Y is significantly smaller comparatively, but it's perfect for walking the crowded streets of NYC when it's raining without hitting all of the other umbrellas on the sidewalk. You might be able to squeeze two people under it as long as you both don't mind getting a little wet, and you really like each other. Otherwise, for me, it's just about perfect. I read several reviews where people complained that they could only get a few fingers on the handle. It is definitely a small, nubby handle. If you have big hands, you won't be able to get more than two or three fingers on it. I have fairly normal-sized hands and I can grip it with my thumb and three fingers no problem. The grip is also rubbery and provides plenty of leverage and grip to stabilize the umbrella. However, if you want a larger grip you may want to look at a different sized umbrella. Again, I was going for something that is compact. The one-touch button for opening and closing the umbrella works just fine. Keep in mind that when you close the umbrella that it doesn't fold all the way back down. The button will close the canopy, and then you must manually collapse the umbrella. This is under tension, but unless you have problems with arthritis or some other physical disability this shouldn't be an issue. You could even push it into the floor if it was too difficult, but I don't find it to be an issue. I also have been amazed at EEZ-Y’s customer service! When I registered my umbrella I made a note that I thought the color was a bit off, and that the grey looked a bit too green. EEZ-Y promptly arranged to have the umbrella replaced with a different color – without me asking! They have been extremely polite and responsive to emails throughout the process. Top notch customer service! Other than the grey color being slightly off I have yet to find any faults with the construction, materials, or operation of the umbrella.So far, I am really enjoying the umbrella and the service offered by EEZ-Y. I would definitely recommend this to someone!

This review is for the 42 inch 'travel' size version. This was ~my 4th repurchase. They are sturdy and long-lasting, but umbrellas are easy to lose! I always have one in 'stock' for when my husband inevitably loses his! It has a wind-proof design (a water-proof 'slit' in the canopy), which is a essential to stay dry in the gusty storms that we experience in the mid-West. Little hard to collapse down (takes 2 hands), but that means it opens with just 1 push of a button... Will keep buying while they are still available

Veey poor quality not even lasted for 2 months...total waste of money

So, I recently got my hands on this new umbrella. It's surprisingly sturdy and handled a pretty strong gust of wind without flipping inside out. The size is decent too, covers me well without being too bulky. I really like the color it came in. Overall, pretty happy with this purchase.
