I've tried a couple of different paper based packaging tape and this is the best so far. It doesn't rip along the edges like others can but is still easy to tear by hand when needed. It's got solid sticking power as well. The only downside is that for paper tape that you are potentially buying to be a bit environmentally conscious, it's disappointing that the 3 pack comes wrapped in plastic. I hope this changes in future.

Love this product - much nicer to handle than the shiny stuff - and, best of all, it's only paper so it's recyclable. It never misbehaves. You can find the end easily, you can tear it when you want to (without teeth) and it doesn't unspool into tiny ribbons in the way Sellotape someones does. If you use ordinary Sellotape on top of it (ie, to attach a paper address label to a parcel) the Sellotape doesn't stick especially well. Although it's paper, it slightly repels felt tip pen so a permanent marker is better. Overall, far superior to regular packing tape.

Why harp on about how it's eco-friendly, 56% bio-based, and then wrap it in plastic - what's wrong with paper packaging?

Great tape! I will always recommend it to everyone. It's strong and doesn't come off without reason. If you want to reposition it, it sticks again perfectly. Amazing tape – I highly recommend it, 100%

I didn’t want plastic tape, and this is excellent. It’s a paper based tape, and works well. I found plastic tape would always fail in some way and you need to wrap the entire parcel in it. This is not like that. It’s very robust and haven’t had an issue at all. Great value for money, big rolls.

Nice tape. I use it on my cnc. Tape on the wood to machine, then double sided on that, stuck down to another run of brown tape on the spoil board. Perfect hold down without clamping or screwing.
