As other reviewers have noted, the "water bottle pocket" on the side of the bag is basically useless, but it makes a great pocket for sunglasses. The covered pocket on the other side is good for chapstick or other small items that might easily fall out of an uncovered pocket.Straps are comfortable. Bag is surprisingly roomy. When empty, it flattens down and fits easily in a suitcase.
