Mini Sharps Bin (1 Pack) (Yellow)

I bought these when I was diagnosed with Diabetes type 2. The size is compact, excellent for carrying in my handbag to dispose of the used needles. The colours are fresh and easy to find amongst my other items in my handbag and they are great value for money. A great tool to have for securing your used needles before disposing of them at the pharmacy.

I have a number of sharps boxes for different durations away from home. I purchased this one mainly for day trips or a weekend away. This is not too big to be bulky yet not too small to accept a number of pen needles I use Novo Nordisk nova pen 4 This will unscrew the needle and drop into the sharps box. I have also emptied this into a larger sharps bin It has a closed point and a locked point. I do not lock this as I want a small re useable sharps box that I can take out for breakfast or dinner etc. ideal piece of kit

My previous yellow sharps bin disintegrated last year while I was on a trip. I think they bounced from a table to the floor. They had been well used for 7 years with no breakage issues or cracks appearing in the plastic so not sure whether it’s my error that they broke or some other unknown reason.

Perfect size for travel. Feels solid but light. I use a pen which has screw on needles. Can get the needle in without the plastic cap. The close slide is reassuring with a good click. I do worry about sliding it too hard to the locked position.
