Shadow and Flame

Excellent book for the series. I finished it way too quickly. Does a great job moving the story along and adding more depth to the established characters. Does not do too much rehashing of the previous books in the series. (Looking at you Terry Goodkind!) Very, very enjoyable series.

Look I am an avid fantasy reader, this is a refreshing and entertaining series. It doesn't have to be epic to be a great read. I travel globally and kindle books are my long haul flight staple.. consider this a keeper and try it.

The book was great it had you on the edge not sure what was going to happen next. The four books in this series was all great to read keeping you on edge while you read the books.

Excellent series.wish that series was longer. Now what can I read? Gail, you need to write more books soon!

Gail Martin never disappoints

I’ve read all these books as they were issued via my local library but the destruction of libraries by the austerity cuts have meant I had to buy this one from kindle. All the lose ends are tied off, the writing is genuinely exciting, good and bad people die and there is a happy ending with highs and lows for the characters throughout the story. A very good read and a very fine series.

The culmination of a super saga, believable and appealing characters, wicked protagonists, epic plot but with great attention to small details. Eminently satisfying!
