Elementree printer paper offers a sustainable alternative to traditional copy paper. It is made in the USA without harvesting any new trees and is produced using leftover sawmill waste chips, which gives new life to wood byproducts that would otherwise go unused. With an efficient pulping process, Elementree yields 50% more paper from the same amount of wood than standard copy paper, making it a smarter and more resourceful choice. This acid-free, FSC certified paper not only delivers dependable, long-lasting results but also supports responsible forestry practices. Its production process is powered by hydropower and uses 47% less water compared to conventional paper manufacturing, further reducing its environmental footprint. An Elementree ream of paper 8.5" x 11" features a natural shade that resembles the tone of paperback books, making it easier on the eyes during extended reading and data review sessions. This copy & multipurpose paper is compatible with inkjet and laser printers and copiers, ensuring jam-free, high-volume performance for strong, everyday performance. Whether you're printing reports, presentations, research papers, or class assignments, this computer paper delivers clean, professional results, making it ideal for home, school, or office use. Its smooth finish and high opacity also make it ideal for double-sided printing with minimal show-through, helping reduce paper consumption. Print Wisely with Elementree sustainable printer paper 8.5" x 11". Review: rarely leave reviews, but this is worth it! - I am honestly surprised how happy I am with this paper, especially after reading all the reviews that mentioned the paper being thin or curling in the printer, etc.. I bind books, so print literally hundreds, if not thousands of pages every day. Early on, I made the decision to only use 100% recycled paper in an effort to minimise the carbon footprint from this craft, but even the Target brand 100% recycled paper is still almost twice the cost of regular printer paper (over $8/ream). Additionally, they don't sell it by the case, so I was totally the weirdo at the store buying 5-10 reams at a time. All this nonsense led to me looking for an alternative solution that was more cost and time effective. I was dubious when I saw that this paper comes to $4/ream AND is a more sustainable option, made from waste wood chips and using renewable energy/ less than half the water as regular printer paper, but it's totally perfect for my needs. I can't speak to the brightness of the white, because that is not a priority for me (a less bright white is actually preferable for ease of readability), but the opacity is just as good as the paper I was using before. The texture of the paper doesn't feel any different either, and in the two and a half reams of paper I used today, it did not jam my printer once. As someone else said, if you need the occasional bright white, totally smooth, etc. paper, it might benefit you to have a package on hand for those occasions, but for every day printing, this product is perfect. All in all, I am thrilled with the purchase and am about to order another case or two! (just today I've gone through more than 1000 pages, and I'm not even halfway done with my orders yet ๐ ) It's definitely worth the money โ I can't believe I've been paying twice the amount for almost the same product for the last year! Review: Appears to be perfectly fine print/copy paper - This paper appears to be acceptable to me. It's barely less white/bright than typical print/copy paper - maybe a shade or half a shade grayer. If I hold up a sheet by itself, it just looks like white paper. Next to paper with high brightness, it does look a bit grayer. On its own it looks OK. The texture may be a little rougher but again I have to compare it side by side. Just rubbing each type, it's tough to tell the difference. Most importantly for me, it feeds and prints just fine in my older HP 8500 inkjet. If you need bright white, heavy, smoothly finished paper, then buy it for when you need it. But for draft prints or copies to hand around to coworkers this paper is completely acceptable. And for the price, it's a bargain. Plus, it's advertised to use scrap material (not new trees) and less water than conventional paper and sustainable energy. How is that not a win-win?

Works great!
Great! We use it for packing slips, documents around the office, etc etc. Never had a jam. Works great with our black and white brother laser printer.

Best value for the money I found
I searched high and low for the best value of paper for the money at the beginning of this school year. Both of my kids had to take several reems. This one won out. The paper is good quality, and the box it comes in is nice and sturdy. Would recommend!

Good for Everyday- Turns Yellow in the sun
Paper is fine, didn't really notice a difference until I used it for signage that was in the sun for any period of time- I'm talking, one day in the sun and it started turning yellow, so odd. But otherwise just fine to use.

Sustainable and easier to store.
I liked the fact that the product is sustainable. I like being Earth friendly when I can. I really like the fact that I can get half of a box instead of the full number of reams. They are heavy enough individually and a case would not be practical in having to store or carry up to my office.

Good value for your $$$
Good value but found the paper very thin. However, it works for what we needed in our office
