Simplicity Analog Quartz Watch with Woven Nylon Band Luminous Hand Military Time 24H (Black) for Men

I bought this just to have a cheap, go everywhere watch that's solely for aesthetics, meaning it didn't matter if it worked or not. To my surprise, despite being in the ocean for hours and being dropped, bumped and scraped along surfaces for the last couple of months, this watch has been unbelievably durable. The only catch is that the strap can snap off easy if you try and throw a pack on and it snags. Outside of that, I can say it's a very good value.

This is a pretty nice looking watch for 5 bucks. It looks much more expensive until you get up close, and then you can see some of the rough edges. The back of the watch is literally the thickness of a soda can, so the ticking is really loud. I have only had this watch for a few days, so I can't comment on the accuracy. It has been through a few showers, and so far its OK. The band is garbage, so I replaced it with a Casio 10169264 which fit perfectly. Buyers beware though, the ad says the case is 37mm. It's really 42mm and too big for me.

I was really impressed with the looks of this watch in the ad. I liked it even better when I got the actual item. I think it is a very handsome watch -- very simple, but well designed. However, it says on the face that the watch is water-resistant to 3 atmospheres. The first day I had it, I jumped off my boat to inspect the hull. Only about three feet deep. A little later, when I looked at my watch, I saw that the face was full of water! Of course, the watch was also stopped. The price of the watch was so cheap that I ordered two to have a spare -- on a boat, anything can happen to watches, eyeglasses and so forth. Little did I know that I would need the spare so soon! When I set the time on the replacement watch, and pushed the stem in to start it, the minute hand just dropped to six o'clock. I thought it might have been a fluke, but when I reset it to the correct time again, the same thing happened. To try to get around the problem, I held the watch so the face was level, that is, parallel to the ground facing up. This time the hands didn't fall to the bottom, but the time changed a minute or two between the time I pressed on the stem and the time that the stem was completely inserted to start the watch. Well, I guess I can live with that quirk. This is my first day with the watches, so I will see how the remaining one performs. A good feature is that there is an extra battery included, and a nice storage bag of velour.

Simple and clean design. Easy to read the numbers, well made. Works as designed. Comfortable band and simple to adjust the time. Great item!

I'm a self confessed watch addict. I don't prefer the very high end watches but the prefer a more casual, classy look. I was impressed with this watch when I received it. Good, medium size with a brushed Aluminum finish. I had to take stars away because of the cheap band and I WISH THE ARMS ELIMINATED IN THE DARK. I slept with the watch on and couldn't see the time in the dark. Overall it's a keeper for the price.

Great $ price. Why would you pay for a new battery in your old watch??

If it actually was waterproof, it would be a decent watch. It was never worn in the water, yet I had to stop using it after a few weeks because there was so much water built up inside the face, I almost couldn’t read the time.

Hab sie mir für die arbeit gekauft. Ich trage sie, aber hab mir eine andere bestellt weil die mir zu groß ist. Also ist eher für männer.

Sofort in der ersten Woche ist Wasser unter das Glas gelaufen und kommt natürlich nicht wieder raus. Ich weiß nicht einmal wobei es geschehen ist. War nicht Duschen, Schwimmen o.ä. mit der Uhr. Auch wenn Sie günstig war, kann man mehr erwarten.
