Really good way to restore the spindle after soaking the spindle in vinegar. Saves you over $50 for a new spindle.

Symmons Temperol makes a very robust valve body. Most failures are from calcification affecting these seals and gaskets. Easy repairs most times

only using genuine parts for repairing to save time and money. I do like the genuine accessaries. online reviews is very important when you start to purchase parts

I have repaired many Symmons temptrols and the OEM parts always do the job. If you change the washers I suggest doing the valve stem packing at the same time. Save the callback. After doing a few I learned to lightly grip the silver ring when you are unscrewing it to take out the big rubber washer. If you grip too tight and squeeze the ring it will not loosen. Its a fine line between gripping firm so your channel locks don't slip and too tight so it doesn't turn. Don't overtighten the new ring or the small-washer screw so you can loosen them next time you need to repair it. The screw has threadlocker on it to prevent it from walking out.
