Adaptors work well for European style outlets
The adaptors work well for European style wall outlets. Fortunately, I had different adaptors for use in Ireland, because these didn't fit. No problems with charge rate.

Great bridge for UK to EU devices.
Had a converter that I bought for the UK but needed a similar for Iceland and didn’t want to spend for yet another electronics accessory. This worked perfectly to charge my US devices. Had it plugged into hotel wall to charge watch, 2 phones, portable battery and iPad. Nothing melted and blew up.

Five Stars
great. works in Eastern Europe UPDATE initially i gave this product 5 stars, but have to revise it, since the product is not of high quality. one of the parts inside the plug bent when it tried to plug it in to a safety outlet in Europe. in US i have not seen such outlets, but here is Europe there is a requirement (in most countries as far as i know) that electric outlets have a safety feature, which requires little bit of force to connect the plug (thats a safety feature). so first couple of times it worked ok. However, after several days, one of the metal plugs just got pushed in to the plug. when i opened it, i saw that it was bent due to the fact that manufacturer is using inferior materials or the thickness is not enough. i would imagine the manufacturer would pay attention to this specific issue since it affects the usability. overall, not a good product and i dont recommend it. buy one once you get to Europe. Dupont makes good product; i know this since i am using it instead of this cheap junk.

doesn't hold up well for long-term travel use; not a single molded package - can come apart
I accidentally swiped my hand down on this converter while plugged into a French outlet, and the package came apart so that I had to carefully remove the still inserted plug half without electrocuting myself. After this incident, I also noticed these would need to have the American plug manually adjusted while connecting to the plug adapter, as it often would fail to maintain proper electrical contact. My impression is this is cheap junk. Would rather pay twice as much for something that works, and continues to do so. Now about to try a small simple molded equivalent adapter, but without the complication of a grounding contact. All my portable American plug devices have only two prongs, and do not require grounding.
