Q: Does it allow for use with a ketadyn backpacker filter to refill it through the hose?

It looks like you would need to remove the hose from the filter and then you could attach it to the bite valve.

It is a bite valve and will not free flow. Source Tactical makes a no bit valve that might work.

I believe this bite valve fits a type M adapter. Sadly I threw away several hundred of type M adapters. If you are looking for the adapter I have seen them for sell by themselves.
