Great Stud Finder for Home Porjects.
This stud finder is perfect for the weekend DIY warrior. As a matter of fact it is good for handy person doing jobs in their own home or remodeling as a profession. It is simple to use and highly accurate. The lighted readout is easy to understand clearly identifies stud locations. This Franklin M210 was the perfect tool for me. I opted for this model to get the additional sensors…thinking more is better. This is well worth the investment. I highly recommend .

Works great. Very accurate.
Excellent tool. I bought this to replace a stud finder with similar technology that I have had for a few years now. This one works so much better. Very easy to find the stud center with this one. Can highly recommend.

Franklin ProSensor M210 meets and exceeded expectations!
This is the first Franklin that I've owned, and I'm impressed by the capabilities and sensitivity of the sensors. I had my previous one for 10+ years, and when it went missing, I began a search for a new one. My old one was only a stud finder, and finding the center was manual and a guess, at best. At first, I was somewhat shocked at the price, then I read on and discovered that it had features that my "lost" one did not have. I admit, I was skeptical. Figuring I could return it if it didn't meet expectations for the price, I ordered it. After inserting 2AA batteries (NOT INCLUDED), I tried it on wooden studs at home and found it could locate the studs and center them well (and quickly). I also tried the wire detector and found it worked very well, on both vertical and horizontal wires. Pros: works as described in the description, easy to understand and use, sturdy. Cons: no batteries included (minor issue), cost is higher than others (but also has more features), a separate on/off switch would be nice, as it is easy to turn it on by pressing the only one switch to take measurements (carry extra batteries in you toolbox). Would I purchase this again: most definitely. Would I recommend it: Yes.

Works fine, identifies energized wiring.
Works fine, will reliably pinpoint the center of a stud, also detects energized wire but does not pinpoint their location. Does not identify dead wires or metal. I tested it on an acoustic engineered wall with one sheet 5/8", one sheet 1/2", a layer of Green Glue, AND a 3rd layer of 1/8" mass loaded vinyl. The wall was 2x6 framed with 2x3 staggered studs. It was able to easily pinpoint the facing studs through all three layers. It also sensed the non-facing 2x3 studs which are set back 4 full inches from the surface scan, it but could not zero in on them. So be cautions with your readings until you get a feel for it. My two complaints is the size, which will take up some room in a tool belt -- and it's not a product you can freely toss in in a box with hammers and pry bars. It needs to be treated like an instrument with the protective zip pouch (yes it's good quality), or maybe a double layer bubble envelope. Green color is easy to find in the clutter. Has a secret hidden pencil that I keep forgetting about. Bubble level is mounted on the battery cover which slides off left to right.

Worth the Upgrade—Accurate and Consistent
his thing works great. It finds studs consistently, which is the biggest thing. Also does a good job detecting wires, which helps avoid mistakes and saves you from putting holes in the wall where nothing’s there. I’ve used cheaper stud finders before, and they’ve always been hit or miss. This one is definitely on the higher end price-wise, but it’s worth it—especially if you’re doing drywall work or projects in a newer home. It takes the guesswork out and makes the job go a lot smoother. If you’ve been frustrated with cheap stud finders, this is a solid upgrade. Find It Right the First Time.

Best stud finder I have used
Best stud finder I have used. Super easy to use. Highly accurate in finding the center of a stud. Being able to locate wires and determine which way they run is super helpful. Highly recommend.

Rises above the pack
Ok, as sensors go this seems an excellent one at a mid range price point. Still haven't quite established why it occasionally flies up a garden path identifying elements which clearly don't exist. But certainly more reliable than many.

Excellent device. Accurate and well made.
It works as all the videos depict it to. With the ton of LED’s it makes the job easier to see and way easier for a beginner to use. Plus, it has the green light to show the centre of the stud. This model also shows electrical signals within the wall. Again, easy to read and the nature of the meter essentially gives you a signal strength. It’s big, and that may be a drawback and definitely could be in tight areas. But I thought about that and most of the times I’ve ever used a stud finder was in a larger area to hang something that needs space. So no issue for me. The size is nice as it provides a good grip and a spirit level allows you to keep things square. This Franklin works nicely. I can see why people speak highly of it. Whether the form factor works for you or not, the electronic element of it is top tier. It plastic but well made. Takes two AA batteries. I popped two Energizer Lithiums inside it in case I leave it for a while, I don’t want alkalines to leak. I think somewhere it said not to use rechargeable batteries. Recommended
