Campbell’s Chunky Soup, Hearty Bean Soup With Ham, 19 Ounce Can (Case Of 12)

I'm so thrilled that I found Campbell's Chunky soup Hearty Bean Soup with Ham on Amazon and it had disappeared from the shelf of the various grocery stores where I was previously able to purchase it from. In my opinion hold it's value for the money. It's got the protein content and the amount of spices for this particular type of soup fulfill all my own particular tastes and needs. I enjoy that it's easy to heat up and to digest in the portions and the perfect size for myself.

The best bean soup from a can, I've ever had. I consider bean soup comfort food from my childhood, and often make homemade. But for those times I'm in the mood, and not the time or ingredients, this is my "go to", canned version. The flavor is not far from being spot on, the ham chunks are larger than you expect, and the texture for all the solids, are better than most canned soups of any type. And since I've started buying this version, the price point has been low or on sale.

When I was growing up, we ate bean soup fairly often. White beans, pinto beans, lima (butter) beans all in the rotation. Then I thought because we liked it. Now I recognize it was an inexpensive way to feed a family of five. With limited means. To this day, I still like bean soup. For canned white bean soup, this is really pretty decent. We add a dash or two of Chipotle Tabasco and side it with Cheez It White Cheddar Crackers. But not so cheap anymore.

Good, no complaints. I mix it sometimes with some cooked pasta. It makes a decent meal.

Flavorful soup and quantity is generous as you truly get a full bowl.
