It makes such a difference in the appearance and feel of my hair. I use it after every shampoo. I have never used a regular conditioner, since they make my fine hair flat and feeling like I want to wash it right away. I spritz about 4 pumps in one hand, rub my hands together, and put most of this on the front lower part of my hair, wiping the remainder at the back and underneath where I tend to get tangles. It makes combing out so much easier. Far from weighing my hair down, it increases the fullness and smooths it. I have to blow dry my hair when I wash it due to a sight but not attractive wave.
