Is it possible to cut a "window opening" in the sides because my outdoor cat won't go inside if she can't see. I use a clear Rubbermaid but it cracks

If your handy with a jig saw or equivalent it should work. The sides and back are thin wooden panels. You could also use a circular saw to make some peek holes. Good luck.

Yes. We have had two of them for a couple of years for two small dogs. They are doing fine. If you want to extend life you can always paint them.

Have to libe yp roof perfectly for top piece. Instructions are difficult to follow b/c of no words.

Product shipping material (styrafoam) gets all over the place. Instructions are just black and white pictures that dont really show that roof has to line up for capstone. Would have been better with prefabracated threadings for the roof. Would be nice if inside floor had screws instead of being held by gravity. It is raised off the ground but not great for cold climates. Pretty good deak fits medium sized dog.

Works well with 24 x 18 dog bed

Bought two of these for our 15 and 20 pound dogs. I put a Midwest Quiet Time Pet Bed 24 by 18 inch bed in each of them which fits inside perfectly. House goes together easily. Comes in several pieces which need to be screwed together. They have been out on the back porch for several months where it is now raining and they seem to hold up well. They are light weight but pretty sturdy. We have taught the dogs to "get in your house" while we fill their bowls with food. They wait till we say "OK" and then they run for the food. Well priced for what you get.

Easy Assembly - Handles The Weather Fine

I put it together in minutes. (I used a Power Screw Driver to speed things up.) I didn't see the Pre-Drilled Holes until after I placed the first screw - no problem as I was not that far off.It's been outside for three weeks now and looks new after two weeks of rain every day.
