Simply create a step-by-step path for Jack using the 30 double-sided coding cards to provide the perfect introduction to coding concepts. Each card features a direction or 'step' (such as forward or reverse) to program into Jack.The possibilities are endless since Jack can be programmed up to 40 steps. He features 2 speeds — perfect for the tabletop or floor. Try setting up a maze with blocks or other toys and program Jack to make it to the end. Also, try creating tunnels or other obstacles for Jack to navigate through or around using nearby items, such as pillows or books. Keep building, estimating, measuring, and learning!

You can use just the mouse if you want. It runs across the floor, table or any other hard surface. You can create your own maze with craft sticks if you want. Just remember that for each movement of the mouse, it moves a certain distance. The cheese is plastic. It is not magnetic. The mouse must just detect the collision for it to light up when it reaches it.

The mouse is run by batteries. They are easy to change.
