Excellent product. Easy installation

Design is very basic and it's a bit noisy.

Super loud for one. The light bulb died in 1.5 months, which is not normal and the light was barely used. Update: have contacted the seller, they sent a repair man however they are charging for the bulb and filter replacement. The hood doesn’t have any intake power. They are blaming it on 4 months of very light use.

Bought this despite the negative reviews only to find it works just splendidly. I honestly can't understand the other reviewers. The noise level is 68db at max but if that's too much for you there are 2 lower speed settings. Look up comparisons for things that produce 68db of noise to see if this would be intolerable but personally i don't find the max setting too much. Few units come with 2 fans and 2 charcoal filters at this entry level price range. The wire is about 1m long so whether your sockets are to the left or right of your cooking range there's plenty of reach. i had to tie up and hide an excess ~60-70cm. if your sockets are further away it's on the people that wired your kitchen without allowance for a hood and oven. I too have just the one power outlet there so I stuck a 3 socket power extension to the wall with gorilla tape so I could plug in my oven as well. The stainless is a typical finish. Yes if you put your greasy mitts on them it's going to blemish. That's why you regularly wipe down your stainless whether it's your fridge, dishwasher, oven whatever. You can run the unit in recirculation mode or exhaust the fumes out of the ceiling or back wall of your kitchen. There are 2 exhaust outlets, one at the top and one at the back of the unit so pick your poison and cover the extra outlet(s) with the 2 provided covers. The exhaust pipe adapter is provided but you will have to buy pipe separately if installing this by yourself. The one I bought from amazon.ae came with both charcoal filters included. If yours didn't come with them betterlife currently sell them for 200AED a piece so definitely a cost to consider. The 3 removable grease filters are dishwasher safe. If I had one complaint it's that the power wire comes out the top of the unit, around the middle, and there's no easy way to route it through the bottom of the unit which is where my power outlet is. This means a 0.5cm gap at the back to squeeze the wire through. Also something not obvious from the pictures until after I received it is that the unit measures 48cm at the bottom but not at the top where it angles downwards about 3/4ths of the way towards the front. See the measurement diagram images to see if this suits you. All in all this was one of my better white friday purchases.

This is the worst hood of all times. The carbon filters got filled with oil and it started dripping from the hood after 2 months of standard usage. Whereas the age of carbon filters mentioned on siemens website it around 12 months. The servicing by betterlife (official partner) took almost 3 weeks and I was asked to pay for replacement of the filters. DO NOT BUY THIS HOOD!

The product does not resemble the quality I expected from Siemens. The material feels cheap, and there are already signs of corrosion and bumps. Overall, it's not worth the price.

I have bought this hood via a different channel this time,: I wanted to buy via Amazon... 4 days delivery time was to long, so I picked it up at the dealer.. I like the fact it has a double the capacity of any other hood, the reason I bought it. But the workmanship is like 20 years ago... not modern at all. 1/ no LED light!!! 2/Powerful, yet very very very noisy. Installation is tricky too, because the hood design expects to have an power supply exit at exactly the place it designed for.... except, in reality Power comes out of the wall at a different place. 3 hours delay for work around and I got it mounted. The material is stainless, but not of the modern type....it shows every stain... not like our Stainless steel Siemens dishwasher that has a coating.... wow.... Siemens you let this glip... so far behind.... you can do better. 3/ To much money for what you get; do not buy.
