Gun Cleaning Mat for Rifles & Shotguns, 43”x16” Oil & Solvent Resistant Long Gun Cleaning Mat with Magnetic Parts Tray, Non-Slip Padded Gun Workbench Mat for Rifle & Shotgun Maintenance

I finally decided it was time to retire the old golf towel and buy an actual gun cleaning mat. I opted for the Long Gun mat as it can be used for shotguns, rifles AND hand guns. I like the idea of having the little trays for small parts, but the winner is the magnetic one. I actually wish that all of the trays were magnetic as the trays help keep the small parts organized. The size allows you to do whatever cleaning/maintenance is needed and if anything it might be a little too big, but is that really a problem??? the mat feels like it's a quality mat that is thin but not too thin and think but not too thick. It rolls up easily after use and cleaning. My only regret was not buying this mat years ago!

It’s a thin mat but absorbs liquids very well. It fills a 48” work bench nicely. The trays come in very handy. It provides very good protection. Highly versatile cleaning mat

Good all around cleaning mat for your firearms. You'll need a large flat bench or table to use it on. The compartments at the one end are a nice feature to keep little things organized and out of the way while you're disassembling your firearm. However, the magnetic qualities leave a bit to be desired. They're there, but not very strong. Should be about twice as strong to prevent things, particularly screws and little parts etc, from being jarred loose if you bump or snag the mat while maneuvering your firearm, and it doesn't have to be much or hard. Hey, ...it happens occasionally to the best of us! Otherwise it's a good size and rolls up for storage. Mat itself is about 1/8" thick. Would make a nice gift as it comes in a plastic container like you would find hanging on display at your local sporting goods or firearms store. No unwanted stickers etc. Generally speaking I'm a happy camper! ...so it's a keeper.

Works great

Glad I purchased this. That said, perhaps the mat could be a little thicker (though that would make it a bit bulkier when rolled up) and a little longer to fully accommodate a shotgun w/30" barrel. This is a good product; I like the small bins for parts. Good protection for cleaning firearms on a nice table that otherwise might be off limits.

Great product and a perfect size for cleaning pistols, riffles, and shotguns. Well made and and built to last!

Real Avid is quality goods and fair priced.

Very nice cleaning mat. Good quality. Long enough to comfortably clean longer pew pews. I really like the parts tray on the right.

Great size to fit small and larger firearms, the oil resistance is there and leaves no marks of CLP on it at all. Nice little tray on the right, with a strong magnet for small pins, screws or keys for your trigger locks. I like the reminder on the top left hand side, reminding you about clearing your firearms before cleaning. Minor down side is I wish it came with a bag for storage/travel, I kept the box to store it in for now.

Utilsé pour protéger la surface de mon érabli lors du démontage, nettoyage et entretien d'armes longues. C'est la référence des protections pour cet usage. Très pratique.

Comodo para no manchar la mesa

As described, fine for cleaning gun on to save damaging it and magnetic tray is handy. Could be a bit thicker and still won't sit completely flat due to being folded in the packaging.

Format sympa et top qualité
