Does this work with standard UK waste pipe sizes?

The pipe is not standard size the rubber rosette provided is 32 mm which is the standard diameter for basin drains.

Where are the fitting instructions. I’ve installed and water just comes out in between dip tube and union nut.

Sorry I cannot help,as a plumber friend fitted mine

What size is the Crome pipe the one that’s in is 35mm

Can't remember but it went straight in bucket. Very poor quality which leaked everywhere.
