Sun Essential Oils: Pine Essential Oil 4 oz with Dropper for Diffuser, Skin, Aromatherapy Massage, Humidifier, Forest Pine Scented Oil for Candle, Lotion & Soap Making, Room Fragrance

I purchase several things on Amazon, and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Seller's have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

I mean no harm or disrespect to this company, but I'm not able to use this product because the fragrance is too weak to use for my homemade soap. The price was excellent for the Pine essential oil and the Bergamot essential oil. I read through the product details and descriptions and was under the impression that these were undiluted and pure essential oils. The packaging is thoughtful and lovely, but upon opening each bottle, the strong, distinct, and almost-astringent fragrances I was expecting are very faint for the Bergamot and indistinguishable for the Pine. I am not against using the "Sun Essential Bergamot Oil" or "Sun Essential Pine Oil"--(this is all that is listed in the ingredients list for each bottle)--in a diffuser, but my purpose for this purchase was making aromatherapy cold-process soap. I'm concerned that if I can't make out the fragrance BEFORE it's mixed into my soap, I don't see how I'll be able to distinguish it AFTER it's further diluted by the ingredients in my soap. My request to this company is to be more upfront about the ingredients--carrier oil/dilution proportions--in this product so your customers are able to make better/informed decisions. I'm not against using your oils in a diffuser, but I would have liked knowing ahead of time that that would be my only option.

...concentration. This essential oil was weaker than some brands that I've used in the past; but it is a very nice "piney" aroma. So I would just add more to the water dilution to achieve the desired level of scent in the room. The price is okay for the amount of oil that you receive. I burn a lot of Dragons Blood and it is waaay stronger -it's very easy to go to the extreme other end of the spectrum- so, I have to stop the diffuser and add more water because the aroma can be absolutely cloying. The diffuser market is all over the place and it usually takes time to find out which brands are just soapy water, or a blend of strange scents trying to acieve a targeted aroma (I bought some Cedar that was a complicated mixture of perfume and woodsmoke.. but definitely NOT Cedar. So, yeah.. This product is weak but true to aroma, so if you don't mind using more oil than you're used to, then 4 stars.

Not only is this a fantastic price for 4 ounces -– but the product itself is one of the most authentic smells. It’s as if you are in a pine forest. Smoky, not chemically fragrant like a fragrance oil. And this seller was just so incredible in answering all the questions that I asked about the difference between an essential oil and a fragrant oil. Bravo!! order from this seller and be extremely pleased.

Smells so good and great for soap making

I bought this thinking it would be a good Christmas Scent. It's okay for that, but not quite what you would think of when you think Christmas tree. The smell is very 'woodsy' and to me smells like pine sap. Exactly what's on the container. So 5 stars for smelling like pine, but be warned it isn't the pine that makes you think Christmas. :)

I guess it’s true, you get what you pay for. When you open the bottle you barely smell pine. I should have stuck with NOW essential oil, serves me right. I put three droppers full in my diffuser and you hardly notice it.
