Within 10 minutes the squirrel came over the bushes and hedges, ran along the fence top and down into the garden and ate up all the bird food it could before I went out and chased it. So plan 2 was to spray around the area where we put down food for the ground feeding birds and (for good measure sprayed the food) The birds didn't mind - neither did the squirrel. So a fairly measly 250ml spray was half emptied to no effect. So £12.99 for 250ml. was a waste of my money, I recommend that you don't waste yours! It has a strong peppermint smell and does work until it rains, although the smell does linger. Would prefer to use something longer lasting next time ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not pleasant to breathe in *by F***5 on 1 October 2022* Have used this a few times to try and deter squirrels in the attic where they are causing a fair bit of damage. It does not deter them for long. The biggest downside is that it seeps throughout the upper floor ceiling, I have to wear a mask to and from any room, even with the windows all wide open the smell does not disperse for a good 24 hours. Not good for an asthmatic like me. The smell in small doses is not unpleasant, but when it fills the hallways and bathroom it is not nice at all.
