I got the darker grey band, and it’s easy to install. Seems like basically a perfect match to my old 945 band, so sizing is no problem. Comes with two retainers for the strap which I think is nice but if you find it annoying you can easily remove one. Comes with the tools you need to remove the old strap. Seems like a slightly more silicon-y material than the original strap, which shouldn’t be a problem but I could tell there was a slight texture and material difference. The grey version looks cool with the black watch. Seems like a good deal so far I will update the review later once I’ve worn it for a couple months. My primary use is for running and hiking and daily wear. One thing I’m concerned about is whether I should add more loctite to the screws that retain the strap or not- it seems like they could back themselves out and you’d lose your watch. Scary thought!

Wat h band is great, paint on clasp chips off with daily use.

Was easy enough to install, has a nice feel. Has a bit of stretch to it (more than the OEM) band. Works and looks good, my only complaint is the black coating on the buckle wore off in about a week. Update 12/24/22 The band finally broke, the spot where I usually set my band to has ripped and goes to the next biggest spot. I can easily say that I got my monies worth out of this product. UPDATE 5/22 The band still looks and functions as it did the day I installed it. The buckle is completely silver now but that's not a problem for me, (function is fine). I would definitely buy this brand again.

Long term the band does great however the black finish is quick to start peeling off Comfortable. Starts to ear wear under wrist. Overall good band but not up to oe garmin quality. Will fit bigger wrists.

It was nearly impossible to get the band off with the tools provided they were very thin and long with super sharp ends (you need to press the end into your palm with a lot of force to unscrew the bands). My hands are aching and my palms are bruised as I write this while only one-quarter is done after 30 mins of struggling. The tools in the tutorial videos all look far superior and more comfortable to use. The band itself seems like an exact replica of the original, but the tools are CRAP. Also of note, they do not provide new pins so keep a close eye on the tiny screws that come out (if you can get them unscrewed that is). At this point, I'm thinking this may be a two-person job, or I need to get better tools. Update after an hour of fiddling.. no progress, I cant get the band back on, and now the watch is useless until I get tools that work.
