Soft Soil Liquid Soil Aerator & Lawn Treatment to Fix Compacted Soils, Improve Drainage with Non-Mechanical Liquid Application. 1 Gallon

Applied this Soft Soil with an Ortho Dial N Spray hose end sprayer to my front lawn The spyer was set to the 4 oz setting .I had to reload this sprayer 3 times in order to fully cover my 1250 sq ft lawn . The Soft Soil worked to soften the red clay soil in my front yard .In particular ,the Soft Soil softened a stubborn ,hydrophobic ,dry spot in the midde of my lawn ,which was a legacy of a drought from several years ago . The week after I applied the Soft Soil ,I used my Aerator boots ,with the spikes easily penetrating the soil by merely stepping on the lawn . The Soft Soil worked as advertised and the stubborn dry patch ,which I seeded and covered with a layer of Pear Moss ,is now covered with this newly seeded Bermuda grass .

The first was a 32oz. just to try it out and see how it worked. My yard was sooo compacted and after using this i was really surprised how easy it now was to stick my pitchfork into a much softer soil. This time i ordered a gallon just to have on hand and use it again in a few weeks or so. The grass lawn is showing great signs of new growth and i always had bad luck with it especially around summer time and the hot sun killing it. This does have other added benefits in it too so that made it more than just a susfactant. Great for the pricepoint and amount compared to others. I'm happy with this and my lawn is too.

This Appears to Be Liquid Manure! Not a complaint, though! because our lawn needed it. But it's appearance, and to a lesser extent it's smell, is unpleasant. However, our lawn really seemed to green up and appear healthier after application. So we recommend! (It will stain shoes until washed off really well).

For what it is, it worked. I did aerate the soil. Now for the Cons. 1. A 32oz bottle only treats 500sq.ft. So if you need to treat 2000sq.ft, you will need 4 bottles. For a cost of $80. Or... you can get a better product where a 32oz bottle treats 12,000 sq.ft for about $35. Now you can treat 6 times with the same bottle. 2. It smells like a year old porta-potty that was used by more that 500 construction workers. Worse than raw sewage. I now use "Covington naturals, Liquid Lawn Aerator" it works really good. Its all natural, 32ozs treat 12,000 sq.ft, and ... it doesnt stink. For about $35.

we purchased a home and the previous owners had a large dog that had matted down the ground around our patio. I figured that I'd give this a shot after watching a youtube video on liquid aeration and this lived up to the hype. Product was easy to use so I would recommend to others. I had purchased an Ortho Dial n Spray and if you do the same then just make sure that you clean after each use. I forgot to do so after the first use and it was clogged when I went to use it the second time. That's user error and not product error so just a heads up on that.

Seeing results just after a couple of days. Works well. Those complaining of smell should probably not own a lawn in the first place as most lawn care product are smelly to begin with. Not for snowflakes.

I live in south Texas and the soil here is awful. I was hoping this stuff would soften it up a bit so water could penetrate better, but it didn't seem to work in the least bit. I plan to do plug aeration this fall since we know that works and there's really no equivalent to it anyways.

I was throughly surprised with the outcome. It worked as indicated. I had some really hard areas on my lawn and I try to mechanically aerate each year, but the results are never good. In just one application of Soft Soil, I saw immediate improvement in my lawn

Sceptical purchase, looks like its doing the job of sorting out my lawn. Project in progress. Soil has been easier to turn over and grass is greener and regrowning.
