Deep Fryer with Automatic Oil Filter (FR800051) - Stainless Steel, 3.5 L

I waited years to buy a fryer, because I didn't want to clean them. Then I saw this one with removable and dishwasher safe parts and I jumped on it! It's been an excellent addition to my kitchen. Easy to operate and easy to clean. The only con I've found so far is that it's large and difficult for me to find a place to put it, but I think that's to be expected.

Love it so easy to clean. You get extra use of your oil.

I haven’t used the machine much. I’m just going by what I saw on YouTube so far I’m happy.

Turned it on and it didn’t work. Called consumer support and it was closed. I’ll call again tomorrow. Post to be updated. Update: A call to customer service helped correct the problem. It now seems to work as expected.

So efficient

I purchased in 2019 and it is still in service. It is not easy to clean as others have noted. I always test the temperature of my oil with an instant read thermometer because the dial is not accurate. I have not had an issue with the oil box except when I overfill the fryer and then forget when I filter it. Lesson learned: Always check the oil level before filtering the oil. I would recommend this appliance with these caveats

I purchased this on the recommendation of my brother and watched it cook our whitefish dinner. I thought it might get hot enough as the dial goes up to 374 deg. After using: The oil reservoir does not hold all the oil (at max) and is easily spilled on removal. {I had a mess on the counter after removing the reservoir, and on the floor as I was carrying it to the sink} The top of the reservoir does not fit tightly - or at least I was not able to get it to fit. 'EZ clean' it is not, with so many parts. Most parts will fit into the dishwasher, but first must be wiped clear of oil. {I am on a septic system}. I doubt that the temperature actually go to 374 deg, because food was not cooking as fast as I was used to. Because we threw the packing materials away, I don't know if we can return it.

Amazing Deep fryer, I can't say enough about this fryer. I place this fryer below my hood fan and between the filter on the fryer and the hood fan most of the smell is eliminated. The heat sensor is precise and cook times are easily reached. The great thing about this fryer is the cleaning, once the oil has cooled you simply turn a knob and the oil filters itself and goes into it's own container which leave the unit odorless. The rest of the fryer parts can be hand or dishwasher washed. The only negative is the plug could be a bit longer but other than that great purchase.

Le couvercle transparent permet de surveiller la cuisson sans ouvrir la friteuse. Bonne capacité, parfaite pour les familles ou les repas entre amis. ❌ Quelques points à améliorer : Assez grande, elle prend un peu de place sur le comptoir. Le bac de récupération d’huile doit être bien positionné pour éviter les fuites (mais une fois bien enclenché, aucun problème). Well made product. I love how the basket can hang to drain oil after frying just like the restaurants. The drainage into bin underneath is fantastic for storage and cleaning. Most other fryers dont offer this . Easy to use , easy to clean! Only 2 gripes would be in would have liked a slightly longer cord,but I understand its safety purpose. Also wish I could put a little more oil to cover some thicker meats. You can but stroke draining would be issue as it will over fill that and makes storage feature useless. Great T Fal product.

My comments are all in reference to tfal model T58 M1, which I bought in late 2022. I have probably used it 10-12 times. I really like most of the features of this model: the oil filtration works very well, the easy pour feature of the oil container is great for putting it in another container, and it completely dissambles, so pretty easy to clean. I find it comes back to temperature fairly quickly after adding food, and has good capacity - i can deep fry three pieces of fish at once, or enough fries for 2-3 people in the basket. The only two negatives are: 1. the power cord is very short. I don’t see how you could use it as is, without having a power receptacle right next to it. I absolutely get why a short cord is a safety feature, but another 6-12 inches is needed, especially as the machine end comes off very easily with only a small amount of tension (another safety feature), so you can’t have the cord tight at all. 2. the maximum heat of the oil is 375 F. I think this is quite common, as another safety feature, but being able to up to 390 F would be nice for some foods. Overall, i am very happy with it, and would buy it again.

Je suis très contente d'avoir choisi cette friteuse ça fait longtemps que je cherchais une et j'ai trouvé celle qui fait les meilleures frites maison vous ne le regretterai pas votre achat !
