She got a canopy bed with black mesh and is working the black and red aesthetic. I picked these up for her, along with some battery operated votives to add a little ambience to her space. She hung them from the corners of her canopy frame and loves them. They do not come with candles. It is just the lanterns. They are well made, real metal and glass, the red is very pretty, especially with a flickering candle inside to make the shadows dance. They are small, but that is perfect for our use. We dropped them on the carpet and the glass didn't break, so that's a bonus. It feels sturdy enough that as long as you don't hit it hard, or directly, it would be okay. She loves them so much. I picked up metal hook chains to attach them to the bedframe for just a couple of dollars. They are perfect.
