Shipping is okay product is double bagged. No loss of material to poor package care along the way. Bags are fairly durable do not recommend trying to rip them open.

Just starting panning, how pure is the gold in the bag? Most all real nuggets should be 22 carrot

All of our unsearched gold paydirt is from Virginia and the unsearched, naturally occurring gold found inside of this paydirt comes in at around 23+ Karat (not carat, carat is for sizing gems and carrot is a vegetable. Karat (K) is for purity, that is what you mean). Some of the purest gold in the world comes from the east coast US and is typically in the 22-23 K range. Added gold found within this product comes from gold mines all over North America and comes in around 18-23 K as the added gold is varied from different locations.

So I wanted to test the amount that you would actually get. I ordered 3 bags to get a guaranteed "motherlode" bag. My results were 0.095g, 0.095g, and 0.105. Totaling that up I got 0.295g of gold, or roughly $15 return on the roughly $72 spent resulting in about a 20% ROI. Do with this information what you will.
