Alfalfa Meal makes a great natural soil amendment because of its balanced NPK ratio (3-2-2). This is because Alfalfa plants have deep root systems that take in large amounts of nutrients during growth. Alfalfa meal also aids in creating beneficial microbial activity in your soil. Application Rate: Use 2.5lbs per 100 square feet of garden bed or use 1-2 tablespoons per gallon of soil.
