Scott Professional Universal Multifold Paper Towels

We have 2 multifold dispensers - one in the bathroom and another in the kitchen. We tend to use them for drying our hands, cleaning up messes, holding food and, occasionally, a tissue. We need 4,000 towels in a 2-month period. Of the many multifold paper towels we've purchased, this is probably the household favorite because of the quality, cost and we get 4,000 in a box. Has been a little too expensive in the recent past so we have been shopping around for an alternative but it's still my favorite. ------Other Multifold Paper Towels------- KLEENEX MULTIFOLD 01890 - Premium paper towels; On the level with premium paper towel on the roll. Reminds me of a multifold version of Brawny Paper Towel. They're thick and have a rough texture which I have no problem with. My only problem is only 2,400 come in a box and I would to buy 2 in order to cover us for 2 months. AmazonCommercial FSC Certified Ultra Plus Universal Multifold Paper Towels - Premium paper towels. Reminds me of the Ultra Dollar General paper towels which are some of my favorite. They're softer than the KLEENEX 01890 paper towels and thicker than every other paper towel mentioned beneath it. My only problem is only 2,400 come in a box. TORK MULTIFOLD MK520A - feels likes thin sheets of kraft paper. Pretty decent quality. Would be better fit for a business setting, IMO. KARAT JS-MFW4000 - They look cheap. They feel cheap. I dislike how easy they tear but a plus is they are really cheap. Not my favorite whatsoever but if they're 20-something dollars for 4,000, I'll buy them. SCOTT Multifold 01840 - quality isn't as good as 01804 but the texture of SCOTT towels is always nice to me. These are too thin for me but if they're cheap enough, I'd buy them.

These towels work good. They are thicker than the Scott 1840 multifold towels. They come out of dispenser without tearing and I only need one or two to dry my hands off (depending on how wet my hands are).

I put these in the garage in a wall dispenser. Although I have been using paper towels on rolls, I can see now that using the folding towels is much more economical. Because these are not as thick as a paper towel, you sometimes need to use two or three, but many times one will do to dry hands or check oil level, etc., so int he long run I expect this will dramatically reduce towel use and waste. They come in a case lot, and the number of towels will last a long, long time for home use. I think over time this will reduce towel cost (and waste) by over 50%. Why didn't I do this sooner? I'm not sure about using these for things like windshield cleaning - they are not soft enough. But that's not where the most usage is - it's drying hands and wiping things off. Another plus I've found is that removing a towel from the dispenser is easy - these Scott towels come out one at a time. When your hands are full of grease and gunk, getting a towel off a roll of paper towels is challenging - to the point of sometimes wasting towels because you get the roll dirty. That has not happened with these. Five-stars for sure!

I bought these when the paper products had dissapeared from the shelves as a back-up in case it took a long time to find more during 2020. They took a long time to come, several months, but that is, I assume, because they came from overseas while we were all in the midst of a health crisis, so I am simply glad that they followed through and sent them despite the confusion and uncertainty and danger of what was going on. I was very relieved and greatful to get them, and am very thankful to the sellers. In comparison to other paper towels, I wanted to use them in place of kitchen paper towels but found them too soft and quickly soaked through to use for any medium to heavy use. They are nicely folded, however, and look like they are made to be pulled out one by one from a dispenser. The texture is delicate and a little toothily - patterned, like something that would be found in an inexpensive common area like a public-use restroom or in an office kitchen. I'd almost consider them heavy tissues. Though they didn't stand up to what I wanted to use them for, they didn't fall completely apart with moisture, didn't shred, and wadded up easily to scoop up jobs like a spilled soda or a dropped cookie. And they were soft enough that if we had had to use them in place of toilet paper, they wouldnt've been too much more abrasive on delicate skin than the regular tough toilet-made stuff. I have no idea how affordable they are because at the time all paper product prices were inflated. They seem to be a quality, general-use, light-weight disposable tissue - like towel in individually bound bunches.

I own a short term rental and wanted to find something that was better then the cheap rolls of paper towels I had been buying for years. But paper towels also take up a lot of room if you want to store 30+ rolls, so wanted something more space savings, stronger material, and better prove for the money. These fit my need perfectly as they are thicker that cheap brand paper towels and they are still soft, absorbent enough for most all needs. I purchase a counter top dispenser for these and it worked out great.

Excellent. We've used these for years in our office bathroom and in the office. They area easy to use and leave ZERO lint behind. They are soft enough and actually fairly tear resistant. Their size is what you would expect. Go ahead and order. You'll never have to research again!

My husband is a nurse and I am a teacher. We have a 3 year old. I cannot leave the house with our son, so my husband has to go out to get us things before or after his shift at the hospital. For 3 weeks now because of COVID19 we are not able to find ANYTHING at Costco, big/small groceries, online stores for Costco, Walmart, Target, you name it... I could not believe the lines. Then my husband who is a nurse FINALLY was able to cut in front of lines or go into stores an hour early so, he did that. Just to get us paper towels, toilet paper and diapers. Nothing big bulk just what is needed to get us by. Guess what, in NorCal all of these stores were still out of stock at early times or throughout the day when he cut lines. Totally wiped out. So I found these, ordered them, they got to us quickly. They are nothing fancy but they get the job done. I will probably have them for 2 years, but now since baby wipes are hard to find I am thinking about making baby wipes out of them. We are very thankful for these paper towels and will probably have to use them as bath tissue since we are almost out and made an order a while ago (TMI?). Anyways, thank you for these towels during this time. When I am out, I will order again because it is great for the value and getting the job done. Thank you!

Excellent product strongly recommend we use this in our household and day-to-day uses better than paper towel strongly recommend.

These paper towels are strong and absorbed. Much better then the regular paper towels.

I like the set, and I use it in my kitchen. it's very convenient, and with the holder, it saved me some room, nice.
