Worked as promised.
We found out our 'lid' on the Dyson canister had some how gotten broken off--imagine I had banged it on the side of the trash can dumping it to hard. Anyways, we ordered a new one...complete with the canister and it works great. Fit right on the Dyson and I got to vacuum again!
