I'm so glad I bought the beautiful Bamboo beach print, because have been spending a lot of time on it lately and love the pattern. If I do watch TV, this is used during commercials and I end up staying on the board and turning TV off. I never used the flo cushion, just went right to the cylinder, but I'd advise caution if you haven't had experience with board/balance sports before. If in doubt, definitely try the cushion out first. **Important to know that you can have some nasty falls on the board, because of the physics involved in riding on a cylinder**. So know that before getting on. However, this board is a great training tool and lots of fun while getting stronger, more nimble and agile on the board. Sure brings me lots of smiles to be getting the feeling of 'surfing' 'long rides' while not even paddling out or putting on a wetsuit, but ok, there's no real substitute for surfing, but skills here are applicable to surfing. The DVD gives some great tips and training. I enjoy the girl he uses as a surfing model, she's great and really liked the Rocky Snyder interview. Rocky's legit and knows his stuff. (I have his "Fit to Surf" book and it's great). Indo board also gives helpful handouts that show right and wrong way to do it, as well as lots of accurate, legit balance training exercises. Indo board is a really well-made product and made here in USA!!! Love the surface texture and how heavy and well-made it is. I really enjoy 'riding' my board as often as possible.

Balance and agility training, I love this thing!

Shopping for a balance training board was overwhelming because there are so many to choose from at many different prices. As an ambitious beginner, I wanted something that would last me a while but not be too advanced for my level. I finally chose this board because I felt it matched what I wanted and the design was too gorgeous to pass up, and it's just as perfect in my living room as it looked online. I wanted a board that would let me ride nose to tail and rail to rail, and this board can handle that, although there are only stoppers nose to tail. I cannot stop getting on this board because it's so much fun, such a great workout, and it helps quell my surfing lust.

Received all items as described (the board, roller, inflatable balance pad, and DVD). The art on the board is just as vibrant as the pictures. Though now that I've had it for a while kinda wish I had bought one of the other motifs as it was pointed out to me that the wave is kinda phallic looking and now thats all I see lol. Item was packaged very well, however the DVD that came with it had a scratch. I contacted the seller and they quickly responded to my email to let me know they would immediately send a replacement. Few days later I received not one, but 2 instructional discs. Makes me think either the 2nd disc was sent accidentally or they just wanted to ensure I wouldn't have any issues. Either way happy with the service. I have only had the board for a few weeks now but I've been enjoying using it when watching tv, or when I'm in a conference call (I work from home). Originally I wanted a Bosu ball but decided I liked this products versatility and the quality seemed better. Haven't worked up to the roller yet but hopefully I will get there in due time ; )

My husband talked me into getting one of these for our daughter's birthday. Really, he just wanted one for himself. Our daughter is a little small for the original still at 4, but she can do the cushion on her own. She likes the roller too, but someone has to hold her hands and help for now. But as I said, mostly it was for my husband, who is not at all in shape but used to surf and skateboard when he was younger. He has a lot of fun on it and found it pretty easy to get started. Most surprising is that I absolutely love this thing. The first time I used it, I was embarrassed and used it maybe 5 minutes before deciding I'd mess with it some other time when there wasn't an audience. The second time I had fun, but did a lot of holding on to our low ceiling. By the third time I used it, I wasn't so embarrassed since I could stay on a while and get back up much easier. I'm still no pro but I love using it, and it's a surprisingly good workout. I'm overweight and trying to get healthier, and I'm so glad my husband pushed for this thing. We've actually ordered another one (just a deck & roller this time) so that we don't fight over whose turn it is, and I'm pretty sure I've sold my cousin on buying one as well. Side note: the first one we received had cracks in the paint and customer service quickly replaced the deck with a new one with no problems.

Bought as a gift for my husband. The design is beautiful, it is well constructed and he says it is a fun way to work on balance and strength. When not in use we plan to use it as a wall hanging. It really is a work of art. *Note: I think I would want a padded room to use it or an open area away from furniture or things that might hurt if you fell into it. It does take a good bit of balance and co-ordination. It is a serious piece of workout equipment. Don't just jump on it without preparing your surroundings (ie remove anything you might hit when you fall off) and be prepared for the possibility of falling off. My husband got the hang of it pretty quickly.

I had my doubts about the product but bought one anyway because at age 50 and trying surfing for the first time I discovered by balance isn't what it used to be. I'm 260 lbs and this thing is sturdy and high quality and nice to look at. I've found that it is as advertised...I feel my balance getting better, I'm feeling the burn in my legs, ankles, and core...and above all, it's enjoyable. No regrets and would buy again.

Solid, well made equipment. For me, it's definitely worth buying the cushion as well as the roller. The cushion gives 360 degrees of movement and so challenges your body in far more directions than the roller. I've also found standing on the cushion to be a good exercise (especially for ankle stability). You will need a bit of room to use the Indoboard, especially while you get used to it. I find a corridor at home to be good, especially for people who've not used it before - they can hold the wall to help steady themselves. Alternatively it's great on a mat (like a yoga mat) in the garden or park. A mat is also useful at home if you are using it on a surface like a laminate floor. The seller was very good - they responded very quickly to questions and went out of their way to resolve a delivery issue caused by the courier.

We bought this board after a recommendation from our wake surf coach that this was a great way to train when we can't get out on the water. We added it to our gym a few weeks ago, and have already used it a ton (and seen some major improvements in our on the water performance). The board is super sturdy, a great design, and other than some minor delays in the delivery, has met all our expectations. Even our 12 and 4 year old boys have been practicing on it, and it's definitely helping them with their overall balance/coordination. A great piece of equipment that is also pretty addicting to use. Would definitely recommend.

I looked at this for over a year. I don't surf but do standup paddle and was looking for something to keep me sharp. This is amazing. HIGHLY recommend checking out videos of people eating it - if you don't think your body can take those types of spills - this is not for you. It's fast. You will fall. It does hurt. BUT I love it.

This is a great piece of kit for those who want to pretend they can surf. After a couple of days practice on and off, and off again, I am now able to stay on for a couple of minutes and this really does work my quads. Plus I am improving my balance. All of this at the same time as having fun and learning a new skill. My plan is to go and learn to snowboard on a dry slope. This will give me a head start. Although invented for surfers to practice on when the conditions were not right, this is great for balance, snowboarders, skateboarders, or anybody wanting to exercise differently.

Brilliant fun trying to balance .... good for all board sports practice ...if you can ever get him off to get a go !!!!
