So after 2 years of bouncing around an ambulance, my stethoscope broke. To be specific I punctured the diaphragm (long story, don't ask). Seriously not good since I also use it for my hospital clinical as a student nurse. I ordered the spare parts kit hoping it would make it in time. Amazon to the rescue! It made it, I'm good to go for my next clinical date. I should give 5 stars for that alone! But I'm actually giving it 5 stars because, well, because it's a good product. Price was right (actually I was surprised how low the price was considering it was Littmann). The kit came with a diaphragm and a set of ear tips. Both in black. I will admit it would have been nice to have a choice of colors, especially since the ones that came with my stethoscope were grey, not black (and the black does look kind of funny and out of place, but that's probably because I'm used to the black). First the diaphragm. It is tunable which is awesome! Also it was a one piece diaphragm/rim setup while the OEM that i was replacing was actually a two piece (one diaphragm and one rim, separate). It was easy to install, taking all of maybe 3 minutes to remove the old and place the new. Only problem was now it looked all weird with grey ear tips and a black diaphragm and rim. So of course I have to replace the ear tips so it'll match! The hole for the tips to slide over the tube was kinda small. Makes for a tight fit, sure, but seriously, it took me longer to install the ear tips than it did the diaphragm! But installed them I did, successfully I might add. I now have a working Littmann again and couldn't be happier (okay, well, I'd be happier if they had a grey option but still I'm pretty happy). Did a test run on my nephew to ensure everything worked well, and I'm good to go!

After "only" 15 years, the rubber ring on my wife's Master Classic II scope had cracked (they just don't make things like they used to haha) and wouldn't hold the diaphragm in place. The ear pieces had also seen better days, so this kit seemed like an inexpensive way to bring it back up to snuff, and it did so very well. Some reviewers have said that installing the diaphragm was a bit difficult, and I agree that the picture instructions could be a bit more detailed, but I had no problem. The kit came with the ring already attached to the diaphragm, so all I did was place it on the bell, press down in one place on the edge, then work it around with my thumbs in small increments. Had it in place in less than 30 seconds. The ear pieces took a bit of oomph to press on, but that also took only a few seconds, and they are nice and tight, with no chance of falling off. The end result is the wife reports that the scope works like new and she is very happy about that. And happy wife = happy life :) I highly recommend this kit.

Fits my litman perfectly. Easy to get on and off!

subzero air cracked bell diaphram and ring, then dog chewed off the ear pieces. cold weather does strange things to dogs.

After 21 years of having my Lightweight Littman the black rim around the diagram broke and instead of buying a new stethoscope I purchased this part and replaced. It’s a perfect fit and stethoscope works perfectly again!

I bought this just for the plastic ring part to replace on my stethoscope and although the whole product was wonderful quality I wish I could have bought just the 1 part I needed. Overall though it is just as high quality as the parts that come standard on the Littman stethoscopes and over all I was happy with my purchase!
