True to Size
Update: Although these came out of the dryer wrinkled, the wrinkles fell out after wearing. They look exceptionally good and the hubs loves them. Got these for my husband for summer wear indoors. He likes them. He's a 36 waist. They give some breathing room with the elastic waistband. Two deep pockets on the hips have zipper closures and look pretty cool. The waistband is two inches wide and has a working drawcord with big aglets on the ends. These keep the cords from retreating into the waistband and are something not often seen on lower quality apparel. He's 6 feet tall and these shorts come 1 inch above the knees. Out of the wash, they're wrinkled and even after a low dry, they're just as wrinkled. Won't matter to us as they're just for indoors. No shrinkage observed.

Comfortable, but poor quality
I bought 5 pairs of these shorts (different colors) about 6 months ago and I cannot recommend them. My main reason is the zippers seem to be low quality. With one pair, the zipper got stuck in the up position, and I needed to cut the pocket to get my phone out. With another pair, the teeth of a zipper separated, so it never really closes. I've also had the tip of one drawstring come off. It's not like I've worn or washed them all that much. It's a shame, because I really do find them to be comfortable.
