I bought this as a recommendation from a set a stainless steel cookware I just bought; it was on the manufacturer’s suggestions for cleaning them. Call me an ignorant but I never heard of this marvel before. The name sounded funny but I came to Amazon anyway and saw all the outrageous reviews and gave it a try. U-N-B-E-L-I-E-V-A-B-L-E ¡!! All the time I have been using metal polishers and cleaning paste to clean stainless steel, with good results but sometime with a lot of work to remove some of the most stubborn burnt-outs. With Bar Keepers is not only a breeze but the results are way better. I cleaned all the 8 pieces set in about 15 minutes, and then I cleaned the sink and I swear it looked like the day we installed it 6 years ago, it was so shiny that you had to wear sunglasses to look at it. Given the magnificent success I decided to try it on a few other cleaning projects: To clean the Outside of Anodized Aluminum cookware. Finally I was able to easily remove those oil spills that stick to the outside of the cookware with a few dashes of this product. I’ve used all sorts of techniques, hot water, liquid soap, powder soap even putting them on the dishwasher and the spills remained, once there and burned in they become almost permanent. But not for Bar Keepers! To clean the burn out stains on the steel burners of a gas stove. If you are cooking on a modern gas stove and oil goes into the silver rims surrounding the burners, it will immediately burn and create a brown stain very hard to remove, the sudden chemical reaction on the very hot surface creates an almost enamel oily cover on the steel surface. Before, I had to use glass cook top cleaner, a soft abrasive pad and plenty of elbow grease to remove them, a real hassle. For Bar Keepers, a small amount of powder and water enough to create a paste, some rubbing with a cloth and done, like brand new. It is also great to clean the black iron grates and pieces on the kitchen To remove soap scum from a natural stone shower floor. No deep scrubbing necessary, just enough powder and some water and it will remove most of it with light pressure. I had to use some extra pressure on some of the scum on the grout, but nothing extraordinary In conclusion, an amazing product, probably the best all out cleaner available, countless uses, very easy to apply, no residue and very low price. And just strong enough to clean, soft enough to do not damage most surfaces

Awesome this really works!!! It's not a miraculous cleaner you have to really get in there& scrub & scrub but hardend grime & stubborn grease will come off& you'll be amazed!!

Bar Keepers Friend (BKF) is one of those testimonial-type products you may see on late night tv, and it is one well-worth purchasing. Items saved or vastly improved by Bar Keepers Friend: Silverware - I had most of a set of silverware I had accidentally left in my kitchen sink before being gone for a month. Most of these looked like they would need to be thrown away - they were very interesting colors, green, blue, rust-ish, etc. Before spending $100 on a new set I did one last search and found this product, saw the side-by-side pictures, and bought it. I used BKF on each individual piece, and after I was done the pieces were not perfect, but they were PHENOMENALLY better. The vast majority of the gross stuff was removed. The silverware was saved and I am able to use it with guests. Bath tub - A loved one had a very faint buildup of black grime that was on the bottom of her bath tub for the past few years, from before she moved in. This wasn't mold or anything she could scrub off. She tried magic bubbles and other products and nothing worked. We tried a little bit of BKF, scrubbed hard, and what was black suddenly was the tile color again! She took an evening and completely scrubbed the entire surface. Her tub now looks new. Sinks - a similar build up of black stuff had been on the same loved one's bathroom and kitchen sinks, around the faucets. She likes a very clean area, so she tried this stuff on those areas. Same thing. What once was faint blackish is now either completely white again or looks shiny new. Stoves - another loved one spilled something on her new stovetop which was turned on at the time, and she was afraid she had ruined it. She used a little BKF and it cleaned it right off. Silver cookie cutter - last testimonial - a loved one had a beloved cookie cutter that had grown rusty over the years. She tried some BKF and scrubbed, and it took the rust right off. Looks new. Bottom-line: this product saves different things previously-thought to be damaged or destroyed. It is truly amazing. I don't know if I would use this stuff everyday on things that are just fine, but as far as a last resort, this is a beautiful product. Well worth purchasing, though I have found it in our local hardware stores for $1.99 and $2.99, so you may want to be wary of how much you pay for the convenience of having it shipped to your home (I bought two on here before finding it at the hardware stores!).

This stuff really works! It cleaned my stainless steel pan that I thought was ruined by bacon grease stains. It made it shine like brand new! I use it on multiple surfaces aswell. My glass stove top, bathroom however I have really tough calcium build up stains that it would not remove on my faucet. But over all it will be buying again. It does go along way. Make sure the read the instructions before use.

New to stainless steel pans and scorched them. BFK just worked and with minimal scrubbing. Only took a small amount. Easy to use. 100% recommends and will be trying it on every else. Had no issues with delivery or leaking. I would recommend wearing gloves and it stings if you have any cuts. Hands got dry afterwards.

I bought this after watching several videos online suggesting it would be great for cleaning cookware, and as I had just bought a new stainless steel pan I thought it would be a good thing to have. I have used this several times on steel cookware and it brings it up like brand new, it works particularly well on tough stains that disappear and the finish is as bright as it can be. It doesn't seem to scratch and the tin goes a long way for the money.
