what is the difference between the blender & a juicer?

Google is your friend! From blenderrepublic.com: "A juicer separates the fibre from the rest of the fruit or vegetables. ... A blender processes the whole fruit or vegetable, including the fibre. This makes a thicker drink (usually called a smoothie) which takes longer to digest. You still get all the nutrients, but they are released more slowly.May 2, 2017" My wife LOVES her NutriBullet 900! I'd recommend you buy the two-pack of 32 oz. tumblers with drink caps, so you aren't fumbling around in the morning to wash one.

Do you think that nutribullet will be able to blend in dry coconut or fresh coconut pieces without damaging the blades for Indian chutneys?

Yes. It blends ice which is much harder. You can also buy replacement blades pretty cheap.

Does this model come with different sized cups?

Mine came with two cups, both the same size.

what is the difference between the pro and regular nutribullet?

It also looks like the Pro has a larger, 32oz, cup compared to the non-pro. This was one of the reasons why I picked it. That and the stronger motor.
