Piston Kleen Carbon Remover 1 Gallon

This is the best product I’ve ever used to remove carbon from pistons (and I’ve tried everything over the years). I soaked some heavily encrusted pistons in this product for 2 days, then I wiped them off with a cloth. The carbon was softened to the point that I could just wipe it off. Amazing!

I soaked some pistons and brushed this on cylinder heads. It does remove carbon deposits, but takes quite a bit of time to do so.

Works very well

Works ok on some carbon build up, but not always effective at completely breaking down heavy build up even after soaking and mechanical agitation.

This stuff works amazing. I have been rebuilding an engine and not only does it clean the pistons, it is great at cleaning anything with carbon buildup. This stuff works amazingly. Well worth the money. Will definitely be buying it again. If you go to their website you can buy it in bulk which is cheaper

I used this cleaner on a set of pistons in a Harbor Freight heated ultrasonic cleaner and it did a pretty good job of cleaning the carbon off.

I had a firearm and accessories with heavy carbon fouling that I had not cleaned like I should. It melted the carbon and the remaining clean up took very little effort. The aluminum was undamaged but the anodizing was ruined. I would highly recommend this product but it is for bare aluminum only. In my case ruining the anodizing was OK as there was no other way to remove the carbon. I had tried blasting, scrubbing, etc. So I was more restoring that cleaning.

Soaked items for 3 weeks and it did nothing, ended up using a citrus paint stripper and it worked great.
