The texture is thick but not greasy — it’s that perfect balance where it feels rich, but it absorbs surprisingly fast. My skin immediately felt softer, smoother, and actually hydrated, not just coated. You have seen the advertisement for this product and now you need to try it from Amazon. It is great for dry skin which I use daily. It does work. Buy the product which has the pump cap as this will save time dispensing the product. Lotion quality is nice and smooth and rubs in the skin with great ease. Has a non-greasy feeling. Can't say enough about this product. Great price from Amazon.

As a retired nurse, I've tried countless moisturizers over the years. CeraVe is the ONLY one that absolutely helps & restores the natural texture of your skin, without heavy scents & oily ingredients. No petroleum. Hyaluronic acid is one of the ingredients & I look for it in all of my facial products. The cream is thick, absorbs quickly, is not at all greasy & leaves skin feeling refreshed & pampered. The ceramides of course are part of the formula. Excellent product. At my last job, all of the doctors kept a jar of CeraVe on their desk. That speaks volumes!

The CeraVe cream is an excellent moisturizer for general use on skin. But there's an issue with the pump lid that should be standard for CeraVe tubs. The tubs that come with no pumps are slightly deeper than the tubs with the pump tops, so there's an issue when you attempt to use a pump top lid on a replacement tub. I know. I can dip out some moisturizer and fill the container with the pump lid, but that's a messy inconvenience.

I bought this because it claims it's great for body and face which is unusual. Also, I was using and still use a high quality shea butter for body moisturizing especially when I swim because It's not water absorbing. But I was still getting these little rough patches on my lower legs and my body was feeling dry. Since using the CeraVe moisturizing cream, I've noticed a couple of things. My skin is softer — and it's still moisturizing the day after I apply it (after showering; I don't use soap on leg and arms when I shower - too drying). I was a little concerned also about putting it on my face since I have sensitive skin and it's a bit thick. But it's been working fine. I think the the hyaluronic acid and the ceramides really make the difference. As does the price!
