As Described. Works Great. Chasing down electrical gremlins is always a fun time

I bought this product while looking to improve the powerline noise situation in my home office. I have many electronic devices powered from the same line - computers, monitors, chargers - that spew noise back and negatively affect the audio quality of desktop DACs and headphone AMPs. I found Trifield EM100 to be an equally helpful tool in measuring the line noise level and discerning between various available filter products. I wish it had a button or switch to turn OFF its speaker for those of us who keep it plugged in 24/7. Other than that, I see absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Hi Amazon! Definitely works well doesn’t fix anything but it can detect issues on the electrical outlet which can help determine any other issues on your audio hometheater equipment. Must have if you’re hometheater enthusiast. I recommend this product.

Funciona muy bien capta hasta una emisora de radio en el vecindario. Función de medida muy básico, medida del ruido eléctrico y nada más, pero su precio es elevado. Después que se corrige el ruido se va al estante a dormir, por lo que pensaría en de una poner filtros y listo ahorro la inversión. Cómo equipo de instalador profesional si es muy útil, para el hogar un simple radio en am en la banda libre nos muestra también el ruido permanente en la instalación electrica. Y con filtros EMI podremos oír la atenuación del mismo con la radio AM

It generates a noise which is supposed to tell you something but I couldn't make sense of it.

My house is over 90 years old and the mains power in it is very dirty. So dirty that the music playback was ruined by the high noise floor for any of my audio devices, unless an audio-grade line conditioner was used. But the new meter showed a rather low reading of around 40 for the wall outlets in the house. Does that mean the line power is actually clean and all my devices have malfunctioned? More confusingly, the meter showed a higher reading between 60-100 for the line conditioners I used. Does that mean the power from these line conditioners' outlets is dirtier?
