My bunny loves this as part of his healthy diet, and I like that it is Timothy-based.
I have to say, this stuff is like "crack" for bunnies!! While bunnies need to have a variety of foods in their diet and not too many pellets, the ones I was using were more alfalfa-based and these are timothy-based. The nuggets are a bit bigger so he can chase them around if we play "catch" (which is a challenge!). I have been tapering his pellet ration to just these and his poops stay normal solid. Some other pellets I looked at reviews for the users were talking about soft stool, but I have been using these over a month and don't see that. They also have a few vitamins thrown in that are helpful to rabbits. It's kind of funny they ask about Flavor in the review - I'm not going to eat them so I can't say, but the bunny flings everything out of his bowl to get at them so that must say something! Besides these he gets the usual green leaf lettuce, cilantro and occasionally other low calcium greens. That is another thing I like about this as I have been trying to reduce his calcium output, and they try to regulate it in the food. He hasn't had any issues but it was showing up in the litter box on occasion. Of course we all know we have to keep them munching on the hay for a variety of reasons and I figured these were an excuse to sneak more timothy into his diet! Once I decided I was going to keep him on them I took advantage of the fact they have been "on sale" to stock up. Note that Science Selective has several other varieties depending on the uniqueness of your bunny - mine is just about to be 2 and I figured it's still a bit early for the "Adult" or "Senior" versions, but they are out there.

Rabbit Crack
Ever since one of my rabbits went through a difficult case of GI stasis, I've been careful about what he eats. Most of the pellets have added garbage to them and are primarily made of ALFALFA hay, not Timothy. These pellets are Timothy based, perfect size, and are well love by rabbits. I usually mix a small handful with the morning/evening greens and use them as treats. They were quick to learn the word for pellets and know exactly how the bag sounds like.

Science Selective pellets are the BEST!
When we had rats we fed them the Science Selective rat pellets and they loved them (and stayed a very healthy weight). So when we adopted a rabbit I checked out various pellets but chose the House Rabbit pellets because of the ingredients (no alfalfa hay) and the fact that Science Selective makes very appealing pellets. Sure enough our rabbit gobbles them up and accepts them as treats (they are that yummy!).

Food 5 stars - Amazon 0 stars
Update: After finally reaching a customer service representative, Amazon is refunding the purchase price. I hope they also investigate why someone thought it was acceptable to ship a taped up bag to a customer. My rabbits have been eating this food for years. They love it and I’ve ordered from Amazon almost every other month with no issue. Until today! Today I received a taped up bag of these pellets. Shame on you Amazon for shipping a bag of pet food that had clearly been torn open and you tried to tape it closed. Do you really think I’m going to feed that bag to my pets? And of course it’s not refundable or returnable! This food isn’t cheap and it hurts to throw out this bag but I won’t risk the health of my pets.

My rabbits and chinchillas absolutely love this!!
My rabbits and chinchillas used to just pick at their pellets and eat a few, never finished off the bowl. But since I’ve started using Science Selectives, they all run up to me when it’s feeding time, they love these pellets so much!! I am not joking, I have tried every type of pellets out there, all different brands, and until this one, they have never come running to the bowl like they do now. The veterinary actually told me that all of the pellets are basically the same, so I basically just mix the rabbit ones and the chinchilla ones together, since they all eat together anyhow.

Bunny Violence
I made the mistake of running out and replacing it with a store-bought brand.... All HELL broke loose. Food dish was repeatedly thrown. Pee pads torn to shreds and he taught the dog to shred them as well. My home was full of pee pad confetti. Given the Stink Eye constantly. At one point he actually BIT me as I was filling his food dish, then he threw it across the room. I was going to wait until the store brand ran out but I began to fear for my life so I reordered. He's 17 pounds and frequently takes down the Corgi so the possibility of escalated violence was real. I learned my lesson and subscribed to bi-monthly automatic orders. I think he forgave me but I still lock my bedroom door. Update: His poops are full of cecotropes so either there is too much protein or carbs in this food. I'm going to have to switch brands and it's a pity because he absolutely LOVES this food!

Bunny Loves It
I've been feeding my bunny Oxbow pellets since he was a baby rabbit. He is almost a year and a half years old now and recently started losing weight and declined eating his Oxbow pellets more and more to the point where I'd have to mix in mashed fruits just for him to eat it (nothing wrong with his health). I decided it was time for him to try a different brand and hoped that he would like it. He went CRAZY for this. I opened the bag and placed some on my palm, and he just came running and eating it without me needing to mix it with any mashed fruits or veggies. Hoping he continues to love it in the coming years.
