For the most part it's alright. Pictures show that the blade has set screws, but it came with pinned pivots instead. Not a big deal. My only problem is the fit. It's pretty loose already and without screws to adjust, it will eventually wear looser. Of course that probably won't be a problem for about a thousand opening.

These were a lot of fun, I learned a lot with them although they lasted me like a month tops before both of them breaking, they're cheaply made, cheaply manufactured. The latch gets in the way and once you take it off, the screws don't stay, but if you duck tape the handles together after the tiny screws go missing, you can still use them for longer. It's what I did :) Basically, if you want a good one that lasts you, get something else, but if you want something cheap, that's fun, that'll break that you can ducktape together and keep using, why not this one, its the cheapest one I could find on amazon with this style. :)

Overall, this is a pretty good trainer, considering the price. The weight feels nice and the grip is pretty good. ou'll want to take the latch off though, as that WILL get in your way otherwise. My only 2 complaints with this are that the weird knobs on the base of the blade will pinch the mess out of your hand when doing closers, and the finish on the black trainer makes it difficult to open fluidly. That could probably be solved by keeping it oiled and breaking it in with use, but you'd be better off using the silver one.
