Ughh, sick of the stupid people, this game is great!!!!
I've read several reviews, and people's stupidity is annoying. Not trying to sound like a jerk, but when people think Infinity Ward removed custom emblems, I can feel my brain cells commiting suicide. Treyarch did the custom emblems, Infinity Ward never did. They always used pre-made emblems. They're different companies with different styles, and different builds. As for the class system, it's different, but I love it. The only downside is the perk points and the lack of camo for secondary weapons, which was introduced in Ghosts' predecessor, Black Ops 2. But there are upsides. The attachments, particularly on handguns, are better. Now you can combine Akimbo with other attachments, something BO2 couldn't do, and there are some better scopes. Lots of people hate Thermal, but now there's the Thermal Hybrid Scope. As the name suggests, it's a Hybrid scope with a primary thermal function, but when people get close, Thermal is bad, so switch to the red dot function. They also have the VMR sight, which is like a Red Dot Sight with Variable Zoom without that bulky ass exterior. Now the scorestreaks are purely awesome. There are even Juggernauts now, three in fact. The Juggernaut with a Minigun and handgun (I believe it's the P226, but it could be the MP443 Grach), a Juggernaut with a Riot Shield and .44 Magnum, and a Juggernaut with a knife and throwing knife. All of these have strengths and weaknesses, such as a strength or lack of speed and strength or lack of armor. Then there's the ODIN and LOKI satellites, which let you deploy a Minigun Juggernaut, Care Packages, and strike down foes with large and small "rods". Now downsides would be the lack of small maps, so far the only one is Free Fall, and the small amount of health you get. Now it's easy to die, which can be annoying, though I understand their (Infinity Ward's) desire for realism. The new modes are great though:Cranked, Hunted, Blitz, and even the return of Infected (though I believe it was called Infection in MW3). Now the Extinction mode is both super difficult and super fun. As long as you play with friends who are good, because some people will screw up easy Challenges. Challenges earn extra Skill Points, and in Extinction, Skill Points are King. Also, a good class and ability variety is recommended. Everybody shouldn't be Tanks with Death Machines and Team Explosives, but should be spread out, so there should be a Medic, Weapon Specialist, Tank, and Engineer. Each class has buffs earned at higher levels, such as increased health and melee damage, acid invulnerability, Sleight of Hand (Faster Reload), and increased wallet capacity. Prestiging in Extinction, by leveling up once more after Lv.30, allows access to Relics, which increase the difficulty by increasing damage dealt to you, reducing damage dealt to enemies by you, or even halving wallet capacity, or stripping you of your class and it's perks. The campaign is great, with plenty of variety and plenty of action, and also chances to try out new weaponry, such as the Mk32 Grenade Launcher and controlling a Guard Dog (named Riley in the Campaign), and even a remote sniper. Now, in terms of difficulty, this game's campaign is probably the easiesr I've played, even on Veteran. And I've tried MW2 on Veteran, beat through Act 2, Black Ops 1 and 2 on Veteran, which are both really hard, and MW3 on Hardened, which was still pretty hard. And to all the arrogant pricks that may read this, be quiet, nobody wants to hear how easy you think any of those game's Veteran difficulties were or weren't, I'm just using them as a comparison, showing how easy Ghosts is, especially if your good at Multiplayer in any game or Zombies in the Black Ops games. The graphics aren't as bad as everybody says, and most certain;y not to the point of abandoning this game. If they're poor, they have a reason to be. The PS4 and Xbox One versions were launch titles, so they had to worry about those first, but still wanted to sell the game for PS3 and Xbox 360, so they just quickly downgraded the grapchics. Though I still think they did a great job. So for all those people who quit for the lack of custom emblems or the realistic damage (except you can still die by getting shot in the foot), I hope you enjoy your unrealistic FPS'. Oh, and for those freaking out that they're making another COD next year, look it up: They've been doing yearly releases since COD2, some have been remakes for consoles like DS, but I bet they play like totally different games. I hope this review helps attract some gamers who enjoy realism and difficulty to Ghosts, and you can add me on PSN as DASAZ_Z0MB13 or Deaths_Lullaby if you want to. I play this at my friends, but welcome playing with non-randoms with open arms. As long as your not a Halo Jumper. And I apologize if I offended anyone reading this.

A Step in the right Direction
This game is really good game, the only thing that is bad about it is the marksman class. What was great about it was all the different types of perks and barrel attachments. The campaign has great graphics and good game play, although I do wish they would have kept the pick what you want to use before each mission. The MP is awesome, thanks to gun game. It also has a great selection of weapons, of course the sub machine guns still did rule this game. This game does still include 2 player offline, if that is what you do. Here is the rating for each weapons class: Assault rifles: All of the assault rifles are good, and you can change them to burst, semi, or fully automatic. For some odd reason when you change an assault rifle to semi auto it becomes a two to three shot kill. Sub machine guns: You can't go wrong with any of them except the CBJ-MS, which absolutely sucks. The vector for this games has less fire rate than the BO2 one, which makes it more accurate and easier to control. They also switched the Mtar-X to the sub machine gun class, it fire rate is also slow but can be fixed with rapid fire. Best attachment for the smg class: foregrip Sniper Rifles: All of the bolt-action snipers are great, but the semi-auto are terrible. There is an extra attachment that only the snipers have available: the chrome lined barrel. The chrome lined barrel increases damage and kick. So with the combo of FMJ and the chrome barrel, both bolt action snipers become one-shot kill machines. The Lynx is absolutely the worst sniper ever! Supposedly it some type of huge caliber, so it has a lot of kick but any sort of damage compared to the kick. The other semi-auto is almost better because it already comes with a silencer. Best attachment for the sniper class: FMJ or the Thermal site Light Machine Guns: The LSAT is absolutely the best LMG in this game, on the other side is the chain saw. I have no idea why they included it in this game, it is completely worthless. The m27 is not a bad LMG, but you have to have rapid fire to go with, since it fires super slow for an LMG. Same with the Ameli, which goes crazy when you fire it, it is definitely not useful in longer range fights. The best attachment for the LMG class: Fore grip Shotguns: This class I can't choose between the FP6 and the Tac12 both are pump. The bulldog is a very wimpy and not worth using. The MTS-225 has a lot of kick and still does not have that much damage. One thing that separates the Tac 12 from the FP6 is that it has a smart choke which means that when you ADS you get a tighter spread. All of the shotguns can come with a slug attachment, which is not very useful. Best attachment for shoguns: Fore grip I am not going over the marksman class because I didn't mess with it that much. Pistols: The Gold PDW is the best but you have to prestige or something like that to get it. But the P226 is the best pistol that does not require anything but levels. The regular PDW is really bad mainly because it is burst fire, and a has a pause between each burst, and reloading takes a long time. The M9A1 is just a bb gun same with the Grach but the Grach is a little better. The 44 Magnum is fine with iron sites, but with an ACOG it literately cannot shoot straight. Best attachment for pistols: Extended mags(not available on the 44) I did enjoy the Extinction once, but didn't want to play it again. Overall this game is a step in the right direction and is better than BO2

The reviewers were WRONG
I didn't buy this game when it first came out, the reviews were scathing. I don't know what game those reviewers were reviewing, or if they were retro-fanatics and this was too different, but I have say, those reviewer were as wrong as can be. With 100 games on the shelf, I rate this one top or near the top. My son and I have been gaming nightly since 2001. We don't play online because we haven't a circuit that supports it. As a result, how well written and staged a game is and the attention given to features to make replay certain, is very important to us. This game delivers, and does so in a way that encompasses many of the features that our former favorite games had, while building new options on top. If you want a game that lets you play at home and lasts more than a night, this is the one. The campaign has more variety than I have yet seen. Regardless of what the reviews say, it's fresh even for the CoD series. On top of rock solid normal infantry and vehicle play, there are twists such as underwater, in space, the "dog" and numerous remote control air, tank and ground scenarios that are innovative and work well. Found nothing that felt broken or poorly tested. The story is as endearing as most games get. Campaign is a joy to replay. Extra features are great for having a full experience even if you can't get online. Great for a private group to play offline. There are sufficient modes to keep you going for quite some time. This is an excellence only shared by Reach and Killzone 3. Ghosts is actually better than KZ3 and of course more realistic than Reach. Of particular importance is the intelligence of the AIs in all the extra modes. Every trick you've ever seen by a real player is seen in their Veteran level AI. They are tough and enable some great scenarios. We like setting up a series of 10 AIs, then picking a spot in a map and defending it from them. The configurability of the three offline modes are excellent. It goes without saying that the guns are good, solid and fun to use, support weaponry too. Graphics are very good. People are modeled realistically, animations top-notch. Cinematic moments are often nothing short of epic. Cut-scenes are frequent enough that there is a story unlike many games which barely hint what you are doing with background. The fight-rest-fight-rest action let's you reach achievement points before you get to the point where you are thinking, "I'll be glad when this is over". I've nothing but praise for this game. In the past, the only CoD series game I really liked was World at War, but this tops that by a shot. After the fact update: One thing we have noticed that troubled us, is that the stats reporting in offline multiplayer are about the worst we have seen in any game. Much worse than even the old CoD4MW. We thoroughly enjoy the game, but the stats give virtually nothing. Perhaps they are irrelevant to online players, but when you are forced to play offline, stats provide improvement feedback.

If your thinking about buying
First off I'm going to say I have only played Black ops and Black ops 2 none of the others because I never cared for them, I did not think they were all that, but anyway I hated both B lack ops games they were boring as hell only thing good about 2 was the zombie mode. When I heard this was coming I saw the commercials so many times and the game looked good so i got it and here is what I got to say PROS: The story is so damn amazing so full of action and they know when to give you the action and when to slow it down and then they will throw you in a non stop perpetual fight where you will be going crazy. The guns are amazing too. The squads mode is the best I loved that and how you can train your team and make it to the top its so damn fun. It plays super well no lag or anything and thats all I can tell you you just got to play it and see for yourself but of course its going to depend on which system you have if it lags or not. CONS: Its almost like they made the game for snipers and I hate that crap as soon as I spawn in the game from dying and I'm not exaggerating when I say this as soon as I spawn in I take 3 steps then i'm taken out by one. Another thing maybe its just me but I got taken out by a pistol with one shot but my shotgun which is a good one it takes 4 shots before they die like WTF. I complained on how the map in Black ops 2 was so small, but now its to damn big now when its team deathmatch the snipers always get you before you even get close. Overall tho I love the game only COD I like so far even with those cons which are pretty big and they get on my nerves and makes me stop playing for awhile, but I always come back and do good. One match I had 11 kills and 10 deaths but I had like 19 captures thats pretty good usually when capturing something you get lit up like a Christmas tree.

Fantastic Multiplayer
To start, my dad bought this for his XBONE and I played it a bit on there for a while. Recently I just bought Ghosts for my Ps3 and so I already had some prior experience with it. I'll be blunt, I have seen much of the campaign through my dad playing it and as such, I will personally be very unlikely to play through it myself. I bought this specifically for offline and online MP with my sister. When I first played Ghosts, it was offline as I didn't want to wait for a 533 MB update at the time. My sister and I played a few maps, decided on our loadouts and experimented around until we found a few guns we liked. It was easy to get a hang on the controls as it played similarly to UT3 and Borderlands, both of which we have played together. As it were, we were playing against bots. The bots are generally very well organized AI units, with a few issues. They tend to hoard you, the friendly ones that is, if you have an ammo crate in the area, this can make it hard to get around and hard to aim across a room, hall, etc. I can't explain the frustration I felt when I was trying to snipe down a long walkway on Strikezone only to see all of our AI team mates standing right in my sight, desperately shoving eachother for a new weapon at an ammo crate my sister tossed down. The enemy AI can be a little cheap and very unrealistic. One example I was sniping from a building on Warhawk and one notable AI, which hadn't "seen" me yet, turned 180 from behind a truck and shot several times from yards upon yards away into the wall I was standing behind. I watched the killcam and was shocked to see he was using an assault rifle with no scope, ADS, and could barely even see the window I was near. It was obviously very bizarre. Other times you will find that you go to walk around a corner to an AI that is shooting at you before you even finish going around it. Or you spawn back right next to an AI that is immediately aware of your presence. Sniping is also a chore as, even with a silencer and EVERY stealth related perk, I still seem to be found by the AI with relative ease. Moving on, the game modes are fantastic. Many, many modes to play, and great maps to choose from. The weapon selection and customization is also vast. And with the perks, you can really build a specific character. We only recently gained access to online MP, as the update was rather slow. I have played online MP before, but it was on my dad's XBONE, and he had already purchased many guns, attachments, etc. I was overall not thrilled by my initial choices of items. I disliked many of the default guns I was being forced to use, and I couldn't even enjoy any attachments. I know my sister will be very disappointed as well. The squad points are the reason I felt I needed to bump off a star on my review. I just don't like having to deal with default items and not have much choice in the matter as to what you can use. Especially playing online, I want to be at my best, and I cannot do that if I am given guns and items that I am either unfamiliar with, not good with, or simply do not like. It's a major fault that needed to be mentioned I think. We may skip out on online MP for now to try out extinction. Again, I have played extinction before, and so I know the gist of it. I must say, it is VERY fun. I love little horror-type elements being added and the feel of the mode is very intense and desperate. As it goes on it gets increasingly more intense and you have to work efficiently to survive and succeed. One addition of note is the Free Fall map, which I had prior experience playing. I was pleased that I was able to obtain it through the update and can't wait to enjoy it with my sister next time we play. Back to MP, I wanted to make light of a few of the many positive or negative effects of various elements we found while playing. One major positive is the killstreak system. The rewards can be immensely useful and can easily sway the match in your favor. Along with that goes the field orders you can complete for items that you may not have access to normally. There is one item that is particularly intense. The K.E.M Strike. It completely changed the way we fought on Strikezone, and forced us to change our playstyle to adapt to the new environment. It had both positive and negative effects. While I had several kills with it, I lost my sniping area and never really found another suitable area to replace it. My sister disliked it at first, as the map was totally different, and it was hard to adjust to the new areas that enemies could see you from that they couldn't have before. But as you adjust to it, you settle into a playstyle that suits the situation. I would also note that I have had absolutely zero experience with any other CoD game, so that could factor into my views on Ghosts. All that said, I would gladly give Ghosts a solid 4 stars overall.

COD GHOSTS IS NOT AS BAD AS WE PEOPLE THINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CAMPAIGN This campaign has a fun gameplay you can actually use some of the killstreaks from the multiplayer like the Osprey Gunner and a lot of others... also their is a mission that you can control your dog and attack people and that's awsome ,you also have missions in the space and under the watter and you can find mysteries creatures out there. But about thinking at the campaign as a story its not that good its boring and you barely get connected to the characters. MULTIPLAYER I have to say that when people said that the enemy comes a lot behind your back is only if you play like in idiot. If you move sneaky and think before your'e doing something it could be one of the best mutiplayer games ,now people that hate the game because the big maps should start look at it on the positive way and use long shot weapons like snipers or light machine guns even some assault rifles can help you but remember to play smart and sneaky you can start love big maps. The killstreaks on this game were a bit disappointed to me at lees, Instead the UAV we got the sat com and the care package is a secret killstreak you can get only if you do something like kill while jumping kill two people with a knife and more... but there are stiil somegood kilstreaks like the guard dot , hello pilot and loki. The weapons in the game are very good especially the light machine guns and the assault rifles like the m27 ,chain saw, ak 12,fad,honey badger, ARX... For the first time in cod the level you are in the multiplayer or which level your gun is doesn't matter a lot becuas you can get any perk ,weapon, lethal, attachments you want in any level you are but you do need for that to get money and for money you need to play and probably when your'e gonna play your'e gonna level up. Something new I really liked in this game was the new squad mode when you can play safeguard ,Wargame and Squad vs Squad. The Extinction mode is cool you can play it something like hours but i still liked more survival mode and zombies mode.

Call of Duty Ghosts
I really wanted to like this game - and I have the entire collection for Call of Duty games - I just don't like the maps. I am not a sniper, and in my opinion, the maps are mostly set up for snipers. I spawn and get shot by a sniper before I can even move - over and over and over and over. Now, to the great part. Forget the Team Deathmatch. Finish the Campaign mode and play Extinction. You have to rank up ... way up ... in order to complete the challenge. Once you are ranked up and find 3 other ranked up players, you can complete the challenge (takea about an hour) by wearing a riot shield on your back, by picking the Sentry Gun option, by building up the Sentry Gun option to the point where you can have two at a time, and by meeting all of the challenges along the way - e.g. knife all the aliens, use only shotguns, shoot while prone, etc. Each challenge allows you to improve your resistance to alien attack. Be sure and call in the helicopter (second story building after killing the first main hive) - we try to call it in twice. You have to totally play as a team. Don't forget someone will need ranked up Feral Instincts after starting the nuke countdown and everyone will need it to run all the way back to the extraction point. Best way to play is if you are all a different role: medic, mechanic, tank, etc. and all have Sentry Guns. Also, at the end, place Sentry Guns and/or mines all along the path back to the extraction point. Good luck. I cannot wait until there is another Extinction Map Pack. Don't forget to buy the gun "chain saw" for 3,000.00 before starting the nuke countdown - you are going to need it, along with ranked up ammo.
