I bought this to hang in my closet to put my folded sweaters in. At first I thought the cubbies were going to be too small. But I like the smaller size of the overall item (takes up less room in my closet), and the cubbies ended up holding all of my sweaters. It appears to be very sturdy! I would definitely buy again.

I always scoffed at pricier closet organizers, thinking, "I can get that for ~$10! Why would I pay double or more?" Well, now I know. Once again, "You get what you pay for" rings true. This is much nicer and much sturdier than those crappy cheap ones you get when you move into your college dorm and you're broke. The shelves are actually pretty sturdy and don't bend (I don't have the cedar planks). It's currently holding lots of pants, sweaters, and other foldables, and doing just fine. Would buy again. In fact, a friend has already purchased one after seeing mine.

I have had several hanging closet organizers with both the hook attachments and Velcro. I have never paid this much money for one but thought I would give it a try. The hooks are my preferred attachment method and these are thick, sturdy and easy to attach. They will not bend under weight. The supports on the bottom of each bin are the differentiating feature - they are not going to sag or bend. They will hold their shape nicely. Very nice unit and worth the extra money.

While these were sturdy and nice looking, I found what other customers commented on—that there is an unpleasant odor to these hanging shelves, an odor I don’t want absorbed by the sweaters I had hoped to store here. Thus, I am returning them and will search for another alternative. Update: After unsuccessfully searching for a more viable and equally sturdy storage solution, I opted to keep these and try airing before storing my sweaters. Found that to be an acceptable solution. The unpleasant smell does subside and I believe will dissipate completely when I add lavender sachets to the shelves. Very sturdy and good quality. Have ordered two more to finish organizing. Updating my two star rating to four, simply because of the harsh initial odor.

Sturdy and great organizer! I use it for sweaters and am delighted with it. I ordered another one to use in another closet. So much easier and saves drawer space!

Stellar quality! I have several of these things from different brands and I’ve always tried to purchase quality ones, but this one takes the cake! Absolutely love it and will order more from this brand if I ever need more of these.

The canvas material has a strong odor (without my using the cedar inserts (to be purchased separately)). Can’t be washed because the sew-in stiffener is an unknown material. Have it airing out in the hopes the smell dissipates. Otherwise the material is durable canvas and it should hold up well. However, until the smell dissipates, I won’t put any clothes in it. A few later now and the strong odor of the canvas has not dissipated. I wish I knew what the sewn-in stiffener material was so I could try washing them.

I can't say enough good about this item! Being a minimal dresser, I find that there is more room for storing things in my closet than anywhere else, but I can't reach the top shelf without difficulty and I hate having boxes buried on the floor back in the corners. Perfect solution; hang your craft supplies, sewing supplies, office supplies, makeup and personal items, and anything you'd like to have out of the way but still accessible. I was afraid I was overloading the shelves, but there have not been any issues, and the firmness of the shelves is great. I do have a box the exact right height under the lowest shelf for a bit of extra support, just to be safe. I built six identical boxes out of cardboard the proper dimensions, so it all looks uniform and nice. I had already purchased one like it with ten much smaller 'shelves' from the Container Store, but the shelves are not supported, they are just cloth. I like this one a lot better.
