How many watts does it pull to run via usb? thanks!

Hertz - 60 HZ Volts - 120 Watts - 5.5

What do i need to do to make this compatible with a smart plug? the power button reverts to off when unplugged…

No it will stay shut off even with a smart plug

What kind of plug is it? And how long is it?

Thin wire two prong plug shaped like a box 2" wide, 2" long and 3/4" high. I would guess the wire is about 3 or 4 feet in length.
