BARKEEP Elegant Gold Square Ashtray

Let me just say that the ashtray is just ok. Sure, I like it. It’s just not what I was hoping for. You see, I had ordered another tray for a buddy of mine for his birthday. I believe it was a glass or Lucite ashtray. Something in a square smoke colored tray. That one was heavy and had a perfect weight to it. This one, not so much. Yes, it’s beautiful. It’s solid black with beautiful gold writing. But I would be remised if I didn’t say I was disappointed. The tray arrived nicely packaged by Amazon along with a few other items I ordered all in the same box. I was really excited about this particular item, but was disappointed when I felt the weight of the tray. It’s hollow and you can certainly tell. I was hoping it would be somewhat of a decent weight, but it’s not. I think the description says it’s about 1lb to 1lb and a half. If you don’t know what that feels like in your had, I suggest holding something similar In weight to see if that’s what you’re looking for.

This is a very solid design with good weight. Love it!

Have been wanting a large, stately cigar ashtray for my guests and this one really makes a nice statement while giving all herfers a area of their own. Thanks Mike's cigars, Padron and Amazon. Shipping was a little high but this is a fragile item and the ashtray price itself was rebated significantly compared to other cigar sites so I am happy. Padron Ashtrays are generally more expensive. You can get a knock off of this ashtray at Thompson Cigar for $24.95 plus shipping costs so that is potentially a $5 cost savings compared this one. Nice classy ashtray. I love it and the style. Only complain that its kind of fragile and not hallow. I was imagining it would be a little more solid and better quality. Still a nice product.

...Because I just received and unpacked it today, so I haven't used it. But I am knocked OUT by it. The vendor, Mike's Cigars, packed this like it was the very last dodo egg being shipped to the Smithsonian!! I'm not sure being run over by a truck could break it.And the thing is HUGE, and gorgeous. I had no idea it would be so big! I'm an immense fan of Padron cigars, so this will be something I cherish.

The black and gold color really sets this ashtray off. It was much bigger than I expected. I only pull it out when I have a host of people over to smoke. It is more fragile that expected, so be careful. I actually had another shipped to me because the first one shattered in transit. Mike's Cigars, was more than flexible about getting another one out. I am pleased with the interaction and as a result I have a great ashtray!

I got this Padron Ashtray and LOVED it. I used it a couple times and on my third time, I noticed that on one of the sides, the ceramic coating apparently hadn't covered the entire side at the lower edge, and someone used nail polish to cover it up. This came out of a Padron box, but I don't know if it's real or a knock off. Other than that, it looks great, but I would expect better workmanship.

Love Padron cigars, so, felt compelled to have the Padron ashtray. While nice, big, and useful, wasn't pleased with the finish of the product. Inside bottom of ashtray had several what I would call bubbles that burst during making, thus, leaves a blemished sight. I guess no big deal once you put some ashes into it...... Just expected more for the money. To note, it did arrive on time, and was very well packed!
