Brazilian Amethyst Chunk

I needed this for a pet burial and it was exactly what I needed, the size was perfect. It's something I will cherish. I was happy it shipped so fast since it was an unexpected need.

Contrary to the reviews I read here which actually enticed me to get one, I found the piece that was sent to me small and the picture that is displayed is not accurate compared to what I got. The size was a tad smaller and more than half of the piece has an empty white base rather that amethyst like it is displayed here. I was totally disappointed. I have gotten double the size and excellent quality pieces from others so I don't think its a good buy. I would not recommend buying this.

My piece is just slightly smaller than the one pictured, but things like that are to be expected. The color is great and it's not at all chalky or dusty. I have several other pieces of amethyst and I am happy to add this to the collection.

My son asked if he could buy a couple chunks of amethyst for his collection. I was hesitant since they seemed so cheap, but they are beautiful and he really enjoys them.

BUT, it does not look anything like the picture that shows that it really has some substance. The one I received is FLAT! More than a little disappointed.

a fraction of the size suggested in the picture. I honestly wasn't expecting anything spectacular for the price, but this is unacceptable. I understand that it may not be perfect given that it is formed naturally, but seriously? it looks like they took something of similar size in the picture and cut it into fourths. very disappointed

Ordered two. Good size. Not as bright purple as pictured and both have black specks in them (don't remember that as the case in other Amethyst rock displays). Not sure if I will give as gift, afterall.

Lovely specimens, some do have concrete backings, but the samples are just great.I ordered three from this seller (Rock Our World) and they were just fantastic.
