Review: Great for Tamiya models - Can't go wrong when adding these to your dioramas with Tamiya models. Good size. Plenty of parts to make up sand bags appearances. Easy to assemble. I've tried molding my own with varying levels of success, but when I'm in the mood to build and don't want to fool around too much with scratch building, these work great. I have heard alot of people say that these don't need to be painted, and I suppose it's up to the builder, but I always do (guess I'm just picky like that). I will always keep a few of these around going forward, because adding a sand bag here and there can really help make the difference, especially in a scene. ## Features - Excellent for use in dioramas - There are 48 sand bags in this set - 1/35 Scale Accessories ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000WNAE3I | | Additional Features | Military applications and versatility | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Art Craft Kit Type | Diorama Sandbag Kit | | Brand | TAMIYA | | Brand Name | TAMIYA | | Color | Beige | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 648 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04950344996094 | | Included Components | Sandsäcke | | Item Dimensions | 1 x 0.5 x 0.19 inches | | Item Type Name | hobby model airplane building kits | | Item Weight | 0.06 kg | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 1 x 0.5 x 0.19 inches | | Manufacturer | MMD Holdings, LLC | | Manufacturer Part Number | 35025 | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Name | Sand Bag Set | | Model Number | TM35025 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Paint Type | Acrylic | | Product Style | Military | | Scale | 1:35 Scale | | Seasons | All Seasons | | Set Name | Tamiya Models Sand Bag Set | | Size | One Size | | Subject Character | Militär | | Theme | Military | | UPC | 792491297167 599038403278 885283396046 799457305744 899998366294 | | Unit Count | 1 count | | Warranty Description | No Warranty | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Brand:** TAMIYA - **Color:** Beige - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 1 x 0.5 x 0.19 inches - **Theme:** Military ## Images ![Models Sand Bag Set - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51+Jq8K0XrL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can these sand bags be used to divert water away from my patio ?** A: If your patio is 1/35 scale...then yes **Q: Are 1/35 scale accesories for 1/16 scale tank** A: 1/35 scale accessories are for 1/35 scale models not 1/16 **Q: How many bags are in the package? thanks!** A: Hello Patricia, This is a plastic model kit ready to assemble. Each sprue contains 24 sandbags. Of those, 18 are 'flat' sandbags intended for stacking, with another 6 designed to go on top. Each one is about an inch long. So, the way you use them is pretty simple: Stack four layers deep, six long. Each sprue gives you 6" of sandbag line, so combined you've got 12" of sandbags. Stacked in this manner they're about an inch tall, so perfect for 28mm wargaming too. ## Frequently Bought Together - Tamiya Models Sand Bag Set - Tamiya Models Allied Vehicle Accessories,14 Jahre to 99 Jahre - Tamiya Hobby Company - Barricades --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://grenada.desertcart.com/products/17879002-models-sand-bag-set](https://grenada.desertcart.com/products/17879002-models-sand-bag-set) --- *Product available on Desertcart Grenada* *Store origin: GD* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
